“This is my first time here and I did a couple of searches before settling on this one. My washer is out of commission at the moment. Upon first impression, I felt safe, comfortable and the amount of entries makes it easily accessible no matter where you park. I came early around 9:15. There are so many machines and fit your load needs. I need a bit of help, with closing the washer but it was definitely me not the washer but the lady working had no problem helping when I asked. Lots of tables to fold clothes as well. Definitely a place I wouldn't mind coming back to.”

“Due to my personal situation that I was forced in that i won't post publicly here on FB, i was forced to find a laundrymat to wash and dry clothes and I started seeing ads in my newsfeed for Speed Queen Laundry about getting your first wash for free, so I signed up and I went to the Speed Queen Laundry on Milwaukee in Chicago (there are four locations in Chicago, this is the one furthest north) on Sunday March 8th, 2026 and I knew it was a coinless laundrymat in advance but I wasn't sure what the cost of the dryers were and it was nice, the attendant was sweeping the floor on a regular basis and the facility was clean! You can only use the free wash on the 40 pound washers (which are normally $6.25), they have 20 pound ones at $3.60 BUT I would download the Speed Queen App BEFORE redeeming the free wash code, trust me on this as I don't want to get the attendant i had in trouble....lol, but he did say on Thursdays they have penny dryers, I don't know if one does not have a smart phone how they will pay for washers/dryers but I'm sure there could be a way, there is a laundrymat I saw when catching the bus not too far away at Belmont/Milwaukee but as I said at the beginning of this review, a free wash caught my attention of going to Speed Queen Laundrymat on Milwaukee Avenue, thanks for reading this review!”

“The ladies at Pilgrim are always so sweet and they do amazing work! We've taken countless items in for cleaning, including a couple of things that had stains I had already tried unsuccessfully remove. They got them out with no issues! We've also had zippers and buttons replaced in jeans, and weird stitching in a shirt re-sewn. Their prices and service are great and their turnaround time is surprisingly fast. Highly recommend!!”

“I use them for all my cleaning. They do good work and are very consistent. I drop off and pickup, check out quickly, no hassles. They fix buttons that get broken. They notify me if stains don't come out. I'd recommend them to anyone in the area. I am not sure why folks roast a company with one star rating on the internet over a 2 shirt misunderstanding. Not even the correct location at that.”

“It is a regular laundry mat, it's kind I f clean but definitely the bathroom needs more attention. They also offer dry cleaning and laundry services if you don't want to do it by yourself. The front washers are the biggest ones perfect for a big lad of clothes or to wash blankets and comforters. They have a machine to change dollar bills into quarters.”
