“Mr Byrd has inspected my truck for the last several years. I went there yesterday for an emissions inspection. I was there for a very short time. I recommend him to anyone that needs an inspection or anything else that he does.”

“I went to this auto repair shop for a routine service, and I was honestly impressed by how thorough their inspection was. They didn’t just complete the basic oil change but checked multiple important parts of the vehicle to make sure everything was in good condition. The staff was friendly and patiently answered all the questions I had about my car. They also gave me useful suggestions on how to maintain the vehicle better going forward, which I found very helpful. The pricing was fair, and there were no hidden charges or surprise costs at the end. Everything was clearly explained before starting the work. It felt like they genuinely care about both the car and the customer. I left feeling confident and satisfied, and I will definitely return for future servicing.”

“This is a hidden gem in Pasadena! It is a quaint cafe with AMAZING food! My boyfriend and I started with the brisket loaded fries....absolutely delicious! I had the grilled turkey and spinach panini and I added avocado and my boyfriend had the sycamore 2s which came with 2 eggs, 2 of your choice of meat, and 2 pancakes. The pancakes were divine and melted in your mouth. The service was great as well. Our waitress was very attentive even though they had a full house (literally...the cafe is a house ). You have to check this place out. The grounds are beautiful. They also have a bed and breakfast and a wedding venue onsite.”

“I just love these buildings. On the Netflix movie, “I care a lot”, towards the end of the movie there is a shot of these 2 buildings in Houston Texas. I love that they did that in the movie because I am sure everyone remembers what happened to Enron and it’s employees…”

“Low traffic at gas pumps as the gas pumps have their own separate area. Easy in and out. Clean. There are ads on pumps but no sound. Person in kiosk if you need help. Car wash at location but I have never used it. When you activate pump, be sure to read as pump screen asks if you want car wash then gas additives before gas type selection.”

“This place is located right off of I10. I stopped here on a work trip with some friends. The restaurant wasn't too fancy looking but it had great reviews. The place is the home of the biggest burger I've ever ordered and eaten. This was even after I asked for 3 topping to be removed. This mountain of a burger was called the Alamo Burger. Would I get it again, absolutely! The uniquely shaped fries were an excellent side for this monster burger. The staff were great and friendly, so I would definitely come back.”

“Membership has its perks. I buy fuel here regularly. Usually, they have the lowest price around...One of the improvements I like is the Sam's app, in this case fuel. Just pull the fuel option up and scan the code on the pump and that's it. No swiping, no receipts... just hop in your car when done”

“The workers keep to themselves and are nice for the most part. Restrooms are kinda smelly and need disinfect for the floors and toilet, like stop being lazy. CLEAN THAT SHIT! Anyway, I can buy a cold beverage and sit outside for a bit without being molested by the workers. I dont pump gas here, but I do see the gas is $1.39.9 in 2025. I do see a lot of people coming in and out pretty quick. Thays a good sign for business. I believe the gas station owns the washatia next door. Thay play good jams at the gas pump too all day, I turned off my radio to listen to theirs. Come SHOP HERE!!?”

The Iowa retailer, the third-largest convenience store operator in the country, built its new three-year plan around three priorities: store growth, food and beverage expansion, and kitchen technology upgrades. The company plans to add 120 stores during the current fiscal year. Its previous plan, launched in 2023, delivered more than 500 new stores and earned the company a spot in the S&P 500.

Read the postTexas-born Buc-ee's is changing the way people think about gas stations and convenience stores. This chain is known for its huge stores along highways, some with over 100 fuel pumps. With its funny billboard ads, award-winning clean bathrooms, and branded items Buc-ee’s is hard to miss. The company wants people to actually plan to stop at Buc-ee's during road trips, not just go there as a last resort. And it's working - the chain has a huge fan base, with Facebook groups dedicated to Buc-ee's having hundreds of thousands of members.

Read the postLove's Travel Stops is rolling out a new system that turns work into a game for its restaurant employees. Picture this: Three big screens in each restaurant, tracking how fast workers greet customers, take orders, and hand out food. It's not just for show - early results say it's making service 11 seconds faster on average. "These monitors track key performance metrics in real-time, such as greet times, order processing times and the time it takes for food handoff," Love's explains. The system creates a more interactive environment, fostering friendly competition between stores.
