“Nice place to stay, comfortable bed, but smaller than what I was thinking I was getting. More like a full. My husbands knees kept hitting my back and legs. In-room coffee was nice. As we spent a Saturday night there, we were able to see the comings and offerings to the recycling plant out of our window on Sunday morning. Staff were friendly with easy check-in and check-out. An easy 15 drive to pier/terminal 10. I would stay here again.”

“We had such a wonderful stay at Avenue O Bed and Breakfast! Jeff and Polly are truly fantastic hosts who made us feel like family from the moment we arrived.
We stayed nearly a week while visiting our son and his girlfriend (which I imagine is longer than their typical guest) and yet their warm, thoughtful hospitality never missed a beat.
When we arrived we were greeted by Jeff and Polly, with delicious homemade cookies. The B & B was spotless and beautifully decorated. Our room was spacious and had every amenity you could think of to make our stay comfortable. We enjoyed the most incredible gourmet breakfasts each morning, homemade by Polly. My 88-year-old dad said it was the best breakfast he’s ever had—and I couldn’t agree more.
Jeff and Polly were attentive, helpful, and genuinely kind throughout our entire stay. We’re already counting down the days until our next visit to Galveston and Avenue O!”
