“We're staying here for a day before hoping on a cruise. Rooms are fantastic and the location is perfect. Great sights and food all very close by. But by far the best reason to stay here is the service. Dee at the front desk made us feel extremely welcomed, I thought customer service was dead but Dee proves its alive and we'll in Galveston. Thank you! This is now the only place we'll stay before we go cruising out of Galveston.”
“Everyone is so welcoming, rooms were spot on, spacious, very clean, balcony view to the beach was so pretty. No carpet in rooms was a plus. Variety of breakfast items. They're cleanliness is great, always saw someone doing something. Great stay over all!!”

“We always stay here before cruises. The staff is always so accommodating to help us with parking and transfer to the ships. We have stayed here numerous times over the years and continue to do so. The AC is cold, the rooms clean and breakfast included . All the basics that we need.”

“This place was soooo Awesome ❤️❤️❤️❤️?
The rooms nice and clean. Staff love them!!! The Hotel it's self is beautiful. Lots and lots of History and special events, like a tea party it was beautifully set up! Pool area Nice. Spa Nice. 10 out of 10 highly recommend.”
“Nice place to stay, comfortable bed, but smaller than what I was thinking I was getting. More like a full. My husbands knees kept hitting my back and legs. In-room coffee was nice. As we spent a Saturday night there, we were able to see the comings and offerings to the recycling plant out of our window on Sunday morning. Staff were friendly with easy check-in and check-out. An easy 15 drive to pier/terminal 10. I would stay here again.”
“Took a gamble after reading dozens of reviews for different hotels all up and down the seawall.
Let me just say that for $105 out the door I feel like we got a steal. Clean smelling room, no stains on the linens or random hair, checked for bed bugs and no signs of them on either of the two beds.
No mold or anything like that in the shower or restroom.
This hotel is not trying to be something it’s not.
So many other hotels claim to have ocean views and charge up because of it only to let you down once you arrive and realize most hotels on the seawall don’t face the ocean.
My thing is this even hotels that are $200 plus a night have bad reviews I would be so upset if I paid top dollar and be let down.
This place gets the job done when you are not trying to break the bank. The bed could be more comfy but after a long day at the beach I didn’t struggle to sleep at all.
The one downside is that the lobby and hallway does smell a bit like moisture im assuming cause of the carpet.”
“I absolutely loved our stay and the magnificent front desk hosts. I did not get her name and wish I had. She was kind, warm and extremely professional. All I can remember is she has beautiful brown skin, a short nice hairstyle and warm smile that greeted everyone who walked through the double glass doors.
This interaction took place the evening of April 26th, 2026. Thank you so very much for a wonderful and comfortable stay.”
“Unique, artsy, and steps from the beach! Loved the ocean view, colorful decor, and perfect location on the strip. Way better than a regular hotel—will definitely be back!”
“Great location and views ! Housekeeping , Front Office and F&B all amazing. Jeremy the GM is awesome , Jaime at FD, Delanoshia and Director of Houskeeping are masters at their craft.”

“Right on seawall lovely room and convenience in location. Got handicapped accessable room easy to get around in. Only complaint, pool was closed because they are painting.”
“I’m leaving a 5 star review based on what the place is and what we were expecting. We’re currently at the Lone Star Rally for the weekend. We waited until the last minute, I looked everywhere for basically a room to store our stuff and lay our heads at night. There was nothing even close to the area for under $200 a night and that was if something was even available. My husband remembers staying here a few years back and said it’s not what you’re used to but it will work.
Well, it’s not anything close to what I’m accustomed to and it’s not the Taj Mahal by any means. The owner was the sweetest lady ever, the room is old and in need of repairs and renovation, but it’s clean, actually pretty spacious, the bed is comfortable, the A/C is cold, tv is new and there is Dish Network. There are no bugs that I have encountered (I hate bugs of any kind!!) and there is no fridge or microwave. We just ordered Uber Eats and enjoyed our meal. You can’t beat the location, we walked to the vendors on the Seawall and Pleasure Pier is about a half a block away. Overall, for the price and convenience, I would not hesitate to stay again. I understand that it wouldn’t be everyone’s dream vacation stay, but if you’re looking for a decent, cheap place to stay and can overlook a few inconveniences, it’s worth 5 stars given what it is. Plus, I like to support local small business, so if it helps the owner with making some improvements, then that’s just a plus.”
“Very nice compared to other sleep inns that ive stayed in. The receptionist was very helpful and quick. The room was clean and nice. TV had channels I actually watch. Shower Temp was always good. I would say the only thing was our view because we were right behind the drive way part of the building on the second floor. But overall really nice and good”
“I booked at this place for 4 nights .and I enjoy it a lot, so I end up staying another night, I had a great time weather was great I stayed from sunday Dicember 29 till Thursday January 2 and I just got back home today; I have to be honest the room I got it was good, shower really nice and clean, before I got situeded I spend little time cleaning it the way I like it... there was a light bulb burn out on the ceiling and the smoke detector hanging down and I fixed both and clean the place a little bit and I was ready to go .
The key to respect it's to respect others, the owner and staff treated me with respect, and refund my deposit whit no issues. I think that for the price and location, I have nothing else to ask for I was alone and that was on my side because at this point im all terrain... I have stayed in la quinta hotel before
And at comfort suits and at the san luis resort and honestly
I can't spect a Cadillac when I know I'm buying a dodge .......
Sometimes being negative it just doesn't help I'm not trying to put any body up or down .
What im trying to do it's share my experience
God bless America
Peace and Love

“This is a really good place to stay when you sail away on a cruise. Nice rooms and beds and great bar and staff. That was the best pretzel we've ever had. Then we came back later and had the short rib and it was awesome.”
