“Cefco is one of the few places that stay open after 10:00 or 11:00 pm. It is the only thing on the East side. So many people who work at TDCJ or the night shift depend on this store for gas and many other items. It is of course higher than going to a grocery store but it serves its purpose if one is in a pinch or forgot the milk. So as someone who occasionally forgets the milk I really appreciate this business. The workers are usually friendly and get you in and out quickly.”

“Texaco 6 of 6. The long awaited finale! This was a pretty great Texaco with a nice lady worker there. Something I am upset at myself about was I forgot to ask the one question I asked at the other Texacos: do you need to go back in for change if you pay at the register with a card? But you know what? I don't think I need to ask that question anymore. The original Texaco I went to that kickstarted this whole journey for me? Turns out they are no longer a Texaco. Probably lost the branding because someone out there reported them for their sleazy business practices. Anyway, this Texaco in Gatesville is way better than that unnamed gas station. Star Mart? Whatever. All you have to know is they suck and actual Texacos in the area are good.
Edit: I came back! I thought it was a bit anticlimactic that I didn't ask the question, but I did, this time! The nice person at the counter said that you don't need to go back in to get your change after paying with a card. I can now officially say that my adventure is complete. Thank you to whoever followed this insanity! Woo!”

“I just came home, after getting groceries. I was using a motorized cart and when I was wheeling up to the register, this bundle of energy , named Ashlynn I believe, came up and started unloading my basket. She then helped sack everything and all the while, she was making me laugh. She then offered to load my groceries into my car. She was such a breathe of fresh air and made me in a much happier mood, even though I was already in a good mood. I just wanted you to hear something positive instead of all negative comments.
