On a personal note, she absolutely loves animals and cares. I'm 64 yrs old and have known her family since i was in the 3rd grade! You're lucky if you get to use her services!!!!

4706 South TX-36, GatesvilleI could not be more thankful for the people who work at this vet. My boy deacon got sick, seemingly overnight and kept getting worse. They tested him for parvo immediately when we got in the parking lot and it came back negative so they brought us in. After giving him an IV and me some medicine to give him when I got home, one of their lovely staff members also gave him 4 cans of GI dog food to hopefully make eating get easier for him. He's not 100% yet but they gave me the tools to hopefully get him there soon.

1300 TX-36, GatesvilleWe took our beloved dog, Minnie Pearl, to be seen by Dr. Clay on July 1, 2024 because she had so many medical issues and wanted his opinion about her Quality of Life. He was so compassionate, kind and understanding about her condition that he not only treated her as if she was one of his own loved ones but treated us as if we were part family. He took so much time with us in explaining what was wrong after the X-rays and she wasn't going to live much longer and it was time for her to go. Minnie Pearl was treated with so much kindness and empathy. It wasn't an easy decision for us but we knew she'd been suffering for some time and we couldn't let her suffer any longer. Thank you Dr. Clay for what you do which we know it's not an easy job. Please keep up the wonderful and caring work that you do.

1901 E Main St, GatesvilleFirst time we came here, couple months ago. Amazing burger and onion rings. Went tonight, burgers burnt, asked for cheese on one. Took a minute to find it. And my onion rings were overcooked, not really 'onion' in them. I hate eating out. I have pics, but couldn't post em idk.

Bare Bones BBQ
4305 TX-36, GatesvilleWe recently had the pleasure of eating here while in town to lay my moms remains to rest as she was a Gatesville born and raised native. The food was phenomenal along with the staff's hospitality.
Catfish was breaded as my mom would've made when I grew up, simply delicious.
The brisket was full of flavor and to be frank , it was better than Terry Black's in Waco that we grabbed on the way back to DFW and way cheaper.
We were going to stop by Bare Bones once more on Wed. for another meal, but sadly we missed closing early by 15mins..
Value & Quality was more than acceptable for a family run establishment.
