“Everything was exceptional! From the very first greeting, the entire staff was friendly and professional. The vet tech took all the time in the world with us and my dog loved her. She answered my 423 questions about meds for heartworm, fleas, and ticks with patience and many options.
The vet was so sweet with my pup, who got nervous. The vet sat on the floor with my dog and gave my dog time to get comfortable. Then she took her time diagnosing the problem. As far as treatment, she didn’t try to throw the entire kitchen sink at my dog‘s ear problem even though I opened the door to it. I was very motivated to find relief for this pup, who is new to me. The vet offered options and gave her suggestion. After some discussion, I followed her suggestion and my pup already has relief.
By following the vet’s suggestion, we did not need to overtreat my pup or overcharge me.
That alone is a different experience than I’ve had in a long time. Speaking of the bill, it was about half of what I was expecting, and it included six months of heartworm, flea, and tick prevention.
I knew there had to be a better veterinary option than the one I was going to I’m so glad I found it! The last three vets I’ve used seemed more interested in having the fanciest office and charging a ton. I’m glad to have found a quality, grounded practice.”

“We, my two tiny male dogs and I, are new to the area. I chose Castlerock Pet Hospital due to the website and comments on the reviews. We had an introductory appointment the next day with Dr. House.
I was impressed with the staff, Ray the technician and Dr. House. The atmosphere is welcoming and relaxed, as are the people.
My youngest was set up for neutering in two days. He did great during and after surgery. Excellent patient care all the way around.

“We came here twice for our sweet Sneakers. One time was when we first moved here and the second was when he passed away to drop him off to be cremated. They were so wonderful to us and caring. I called to see if they could help us and they were really understanding and said we could bring him in or call when we arrived and they could come get him from us in the car since it was probably to emotional for us. When we pulled up I called and someone came out to the car and presented us with cremation box options, it was easy and very nice of them. I will bring my other dog here from now on because of how amazing they are! I highly recommend this vet.”
