“The rooms are pretty spacious and decently well-kept if you get one without a shared bathroom and the employees are nice.

I'd like to highlight that, as an aspiring entomologist, I found I had plenty of company in my room that made me feel a lot more at home. First, there was a small family of extremely cute and cuddly Armadillidium vulgare, and I think they were the highlight of my stay. Way cooler than he three-legged cat living in the courtyard. There were also, of course, a mix of Acheta domesticus, Pachypsylla celtidismamma, and even one Euborellia annulipes which thankfully kept a respectable distance. I am sad that I didn't get to see one of the famous Texas Toe-Biters; perhaps they can't survive the chemicals in the water to make it this far west.”

“First impressions, right no definitely not whenever I drove into San Angelo for a cow show. I thought that this hotel was gonna be a grimy place, but I was so wrong. This is one of the cleanest showers. I’ve actually been in at a hotel. The breakfast was amazing. It was so close to the arena. I loved the rooms. I slept for two hours, but that was the most comfortable bed ever.”

“Great place while I was there. Very friendly and knowledgeable. They let me watch the tables where poker was being played and explained a few of the games they play. I look forward to going back and playing poker next time.”

“There was difficulty with me checking in due to me using flex pay and the only other complaint that I have is that there was water damage in a shower on the ceiling but that’s a given and it look like somebody through coffee or vomit on the lampshade, other than that, the breakfast was great. The customer service after the check-in was wonderful.”

“This was a great place to stay. Pamphlet in our room said to leave towels that you wanted changed out on the floor. Housekeepers never came in and changed out towels or emptied the garbage our 1st night out of 3. I went to the front desk to get new towels, and they were very accommodating and put a note in to have the garbage done and change out towels that were needed. They could use more garbage cans in the rooms, especially if they are not getting emptied daily, which I recommend.Breakfast had a good variety and was delicious. I would stay here again.”

“Don’t believe the 5 stars, this stay was not worth $280 for two nights. I was bamboozled by the 5 star reviews and photo shop images of the rooms online. In person, the hotel and rooms are ghetto fabulous. The Tv has no channels to watch, no towels for two people, and no iron board. If you stay here don’t forget to bring your own pillows and bathing towels. I gave it 5 stars because I didn’t see not one roach as I was paranoid expecting one in the hotel’s condition and location.”

“It is nice to go and see part of San Angelo history. It was one of the busy hotel back back in the 20s, 30s, 40s. In it's was richly rich in it's hay day. There are business, cafe, apartments, jewelry store”

“clean rooms. bed was kinda iffy on comfort. worst part of the entire 4 days was they closed the pool for 2 days because a couple of softball teams were staying there and they didn't like all the kids in the pool at once,”

“Very clean rooms, only issue was the bed had a squeak when getting in and out of the bed sounded like old bed springs, something may be hitting the metal bed frame. Just a strange sound.”

“This is a very decent hotel but it is really hard to find the entrance it's kind of tucked away.
Staff is very friendly rooms are clean and tidy, pool is small but adequate. I usually stay at hotels with free breakfast but this was an exception”
