“For over 35 years I've used Kuby's. I even used to air express frozen meat to them when I was out of state. David has created a unique computer program that assures the butchers get accurate instructions and are able to track your order. You get the animal you take in . This isn't some small part time operation, it's a highly organized profession plant. I have friends that fight over getting their sausage and salami when I share. They are diligent about how roast etc. are butchered. The smokers are industrial custom made in Germany.Someone complained about the smoked links casing being tough . Don't grill just simmer in water they are very flavorful.”

“The former owners kept Elrods clean and now newly named Foodland Markets does too! Maybe even better. I was surprised the new management takes great care of it too. . They seem to have as much as Kroger, maybe more inventory. All food is more expensive nowadays but buying the Foodland labeled products, you can pay less buying Foodland labeled products. are less than name brands. We live within walking distance and my husband walks there and back after purchasing products within 20 minutes.”

“Meat market and restaurant all in one. 15 people having lunch at 2 p.m. in their lobby. It's pretty much a meat mkt, convenience store, and diner all in one.The meat market was great and had very competitive prices. I bout about 6lbs of meat for the weekend.There was only one cashier, and the line was 8 deep. It was exacerbated as she allowed the diners to skip to the front to pay for their food. I would assume that they would order, then pay, then eat. Whatever works for them, but the wait in line was too long.”

“Lots of great food places here. There’s Boba shops, Vietnamese food shops that have pho, bun bo hue, etc (all of the good stuff), and they even have a grocery stores and gift shops. They have everything you needed there. It does lack the positive feeling in there since it doesn’t look too great inside and the bathroom is run down, but overall, it’s a good place to stop by for food or if you need to grab some snack from the grocery store.”

This is one of the best little grocery stores I've been to in a long time for the Dallas/Fort Worth area.I got a lot of things for my truck food wise for a very good price.The quality looks excellent. Neighborhood isn't bad (I walked and the area could use more street lights on the bridge across i20).It was quiet. Folks were polite and professional and I was helped quickly and efficiently.If I ever deliver close by again and need a grocery stop, I'm walking the whole mile to get here!”

“This place a must go try it, the truth is a very rich place. The plate of 2 gorditas is $10 with coke and the plate of 3 is $12 and with soda. The truth is very very rich. The picadillo and nopales are very delicious with cheese and the two sauces are very delicious. Very friendly people.I recommend it, it's a great place needs a little more cleaning but it's good. The gordita plates are a must. I recommend the picadillo and the cactus ones with cheese. The plates are 2 for 10 and $12 for 3 and that's with a 12oz drink. Really good fresh made gorditas.”

“I've been coming here ever since they opened and I must say it was the best decision of my life they had a little one across the street and now they got this really big one three times its size and I can really say that I am very satisfied the employees there are very warm coming and I am always welcome there the employees there are very quick. Especially the employee there Cindy she has been there for a really long time and she used to work somewhere else before now I'm glad she is here. I love the food that they have here everything is always fresh in the meat here is amazing especially the prices.. you might go and it's your lucky day in the prices are very good. I recommend anybody to come here there will be very satisfied to make this the number one grocery shopping Mexican in Irving Texas more better than fiesta and cost Plus well to me they are number one right now you should go and find out.”

Anyways i love this location its better then the ones here in Arlington (off 360/park row & the one off cooper/arkansas) The employees have always been nice here. The store doesn't have a lot of items to choose from because of their over priced items but what do you expect it isn't Walmart people! Other then that i only go to this store to buy meat products. I do agree prices are some what high on produce or just general household items but sometimes they do have great sales.”
