“Usually I just drop in this CVS to get a quick 20 bucks on my way to a Yelp event or to grab a birthday card. But last week I wanted to see if they had items from the weekly ad since I was in the neighborhood. To my surprise, they did. This store is a gold mine for makeup! Now that I know that, I will definitely be coming back for any makeup needs and makeup deals in the future. Staff is always friendly and helpful, although they are usually pretty short staffed. I have not been back to the pharmacy so I cannot attest to how great or poor the quality is in that area of the store. But now I have a new CVS to visit for coupon purposes!”

“They did a great job with customer service and recommendations. One of the techs recommended a mirror finish that everyone is asking me about. They were patient while dealing with my crazy insurance company. Sam's material for their glasses hold up much better than other places that I've been to. They seem to be very scratch resistant and also great value especially if you're a plus member. The only real thing to know is you may have to be patient when you get there if they're dealing with someone in front of you as it's a small staff. You can likely call ahead but I've never tried.”

Understandably, you occasionally have to wait in line or wait on hold, as they are very busy trying to fill thousands of orders with very important guidelines while also helping with questions and ringing people up and answering a million calls…. I’m sure they would like more help but they are doing the best they can. If the pharmacist steps away to help ring up a customer that takes time away from their important tasks. My work schedule makes it hard to make it to the pharmacy during their hours as mine are very similar. However, they have been very kind and accommodating in trying to make sure my prescriptions are ready for an easy as possible pick up. Everyone I’ve encountered here has been very kind and helpful.”

“Walgreens on Carrier and Westchester in Grand Prairie Texas is the best community Walgreens I've ever been in. It reminds you of the old drugstore back in the day when they actually called them drug stores. And you had a local pharmacist who knew everybody by their name. I'm sad that I don't have the name of the pharmacist there who is extremely kind and positive every time I see him. I was recently diagnosed with cancer this year. I had a prescription sent over for tamoxifen, a pill that I would have to take daily for the next 5 to possibly 10 years to fight off cancer from returning. When I went to pick up my prescription the the first time, the pharmacist smiled at me as he was ringing up my prescription at the register. He looked at me and said, "now do you know what this medicine is for" I smiled and said yes I do. He told me how to take it when to take it but he continued on to smile and said, "you call me if you have any questions". Now that may sound like normal customer service to you. But there was something about his sense of genuine caring that registered with me in a very critical moment in my life. IT mattered to me how he made me feel. I've gone to this Walgreens for over a decade consistantly, probably weekly when I don't want to go into a large box store. I've never had one issue, no one complaints. Oh wait that's not totally true the rocky road ice cream there is always refrozen. I think there may be a slight issue with their freezer so beware of the ice cream.”

“I have used this pharmacy for at least 15 yrs. I previously lived around the corner but moved to Hillsboro 8 yrs ago and I continue to drive to this Walgreens because of their awesome service. They repeatedly go out of their way to order 1 of my meds from my preferred manufacturer because it works for my body. They willingly do this with a good attitude and always treat me with respect.
