“It's places like Hoffer's that I love about small towns. The employees always have a smile on their faces, they sell fresh, locally grown veggies in season, they sell meats from the local butcher/ packing shop Glenn's, the prices aren't Walmart but they're reasonable. I always try to do my shopping here when coming into town to get gas or to pick up a couple of things. Oh, and their deli meats are to die for!”

“My spouse and I were returning to Minnesota after vacationing in southern Texas to visit family. On Friday evening, January 7th, we had an problem with our car and felt it was not safe to continue driving. The error message was "AC fan off because Engine is Hot" the AC does not work on my car. We spent the night in Halletsville and on Saturday morning we took it to this auto repair, they were the only mechanics open on Saturday. The young man was able to diagnosis the problem, and sent us to the NAPA Auto Parts store to get the part. In addition, the clerk at NAPA connected the sensor device and was able to tell us what sensor we needed. The car was fixed within 30 minutes and we were on our way. We made it home with no additional problems.Thank you so much for the great service and helping these travelers with the 2014 Chevy Cruze”

“Jesus people, it's a gas station - what do you expect, a 5 star restaurant? It's a nice, clean gas station with a very friendly guy behind the counter that knows what he's doing (and apparently makes great pizza - I've never tried it but I will now). He helped me to find a vape product that no one in town carried but then (and I was told.thay I'd have to go to Victoria to get it). Awesome, thanks ?!”

“Our usual stop on the way to doctors appointment in Victoria. Very clean store and restrooms. Friendly staff. All the normal convenience store items. Coffee is good and hot. We haven't tried the restaurant inside, but whatever they are cooking smells wonderful. I always forget photos. ?”
