203 S Front St, Hallettsville
Gas Stations
“Friendly and knowledgeable staff. They are a self service station but with my disability, they will help me in pumping gas. Hallettsville is lucky to have that type of service offered.”
“I was heading north on 77, I needed a quick stop for gas and a bottled water. Everybody who walked past me in this store said hello, and I felt bad because I forgot what town I was in! The clerk was a chubby fella with a big smile and the couple of ladies there were also super duper nice. There was food here and it smelled absolutely delicious but I was hours from my destination and already had what I needed. This was probably my favorite first day stop of my 5 hour drive and I will definitely be back to gas up and grab snacks.”
“Our usual stop on the way to doctors appointment in Victoria. Very clean store and restrooms. Friendly staff. All the normal convenience store items. Coffee is good and hot. We haven't tried the restaurant inside, but whatever they are cooking smells wonderful. I always forget photos. ?”
“Love this place, but hate they close so early. I usually will grab something for dinner as well while I'm there since there's no longer a mcdonald's or sonic. This store is a great addition to Halletsville and their meal prices are very reasonable.”
“Unbeatable hospitality! i had to stop in for some gas & to check my bearings since my gps & phone were dead, the lady at the counter filled me in & was super friendly & nice!!”
“It's places like Hoffer's that I love about small towns. The employees always have a smile on their faces, they sell fresh, locally grown veggies in season, they sell meats from the local butcher/ packing shop Glenn's, the prices aren't Walmart but they're reasonable. I always try to do my shopping here when coming into town to get gas or to pick up a couple of things. Oh, and their deli meats are to die for!”
