“I visited Corey in the sthil section & talked about how I need to upgrade to a larger saw (due to a large tree split). I didn't buy one that day. I researched all other sthil dealers & bought an ms271 from Murdocks ,because they had 175.00 off. I returned it within days of buying it (4 others had returned ms271) to murdocks credit they refunded my money. I then went straight to Ace & got the ms261 (which is what Corey suggested in the first place). Im so so happy with this saw. The customer service was excellent!!”

Being both female and a senior citizen I had no idea what to look for so I went where I knew I could get help, that being Keith Ace Hardware in Salado. Sure enough I was greeted as I walked in, was directed to the correct aisle and almost as soon as I got to that aisle a second associate came to help me find what I needed. He took the broken wheels I had brought with me and quickly found exactly what would fit my grill and the cabinet!”

“It's a small hardware store , I like it because I don't have to walk a mile to get what I am looking for and I make copies of keys regularly there , they cost $1.08 most keys tax included , people there are very curtious and know about almost everything , plumbing, electrical, painting, sheetrock, Easy place to get in an out for people that don't want to walk a mile to get a PVC fitting,”
“Ratings are meant to be periodically updated, and once I receive the doors I ordered, I will update the review and see if the number of stars given still holds or should be adjusted. I found the staff to be exceptionally helpful. We had a bit of a language barrier because they are using the vernacular of their Trade and I am describing what I want in layman's terms. Once we cleared the hurdles of jargon, the experience went very well. Quinn and "Pluckie" were exceptionally helpful and it reinforces the notion that employees "make" the business. It is difficult to say if the location is more advantages than perhaps some others, but the location supports access from more than one direction using main thoroughfares, and even with a significant amount of traffic I could easily get to and from the lumber yard.”

“Was offered help MANY times. Self checkout lady was kind and took care of me being complicated (sorry!) without getting rude. Got all questions answered, and they had a nice clearance area! I had people help me who weren't even in their own area, and still tried or got the right person immediately. Better service than any Lowe's I've been in. I'm always ignored and you can't find anyone to help with anything! Pleasant change of pace!”
