“When we bought our new home back in Sept 2022, we bought furniture at both SF and NFM.

Fast forward to Jan 2026 and I just want to share that the pieces we bought from SAGINAW FURNITURE, was not only cheaper than NFM but the quality has been far superior to that of the overpriced low quality bulk produced furniture we bought at nfm at the same time.

Ive spent the last 3 weeks just trying to get NFM to honor the 5 year protection plan, through square trade/Allstate. Claiming they would send someone out within 72 hours. After my 20th call to them this morning, I asked can I just hire a different furniture repair company? She wasnt sure but would find out. So, since I tossed Saginaw furniture 's info into this ordeal for the repairs, I decided to give them a call. I spoke to Steve.

Y'all THIS RIGHT HERE is why to do your business with family owned local shops. He was awesome and able to help get the dots connected. He even remembered the custom halltree we bought way back in 2022. We also bought a complete bedroom suite with them. We had been hunting everywhere because I wanted antique white furniture. Having dual base adjustable beds also presented a challenge in finding a headboard to make the adjustable beds look nicer. He found us a custom headboard,footboard and frame all wood and in antigue white , exactly what I wanted. Then they came and built it aroundbour beds! Their guys were fast, friendly, and cleaned up their mess. All the furniture we bought with them, still feels and looks brand new. Its all solid. Nothing loose or anything.

Ok, so why so long to do the review? Thats on me. We got busy with moving ,kids in school, and life. Dealing with needing furniture repair in the junk nfm sold us brought all this back around. After how willing Steve was this morning to help us with this issue, I felt I absolutely needed to make sure people knew how awesome this little shop is. Don't waste your time driving to Dallas. Go see Steve at Saginaw furniture! I dont work for them or know them personally, just a really happy customer and in a world where everyone likes to complain, I just wanted to compliment them.”

He patiently guided me through trying different types and sizes, which was essential since I struggle with neck and shoulder pain. “I live in New York and after receiving a Murphy Bed from another company and returning it because it was made of Medium-density fiberboard (MDF) I decided I would search for a quality bed and pay the extra cost. After dealing with a number of "custom" manufacturers and reading terrible reviews I gave up. Then I came across Wallbeds n More. It was more than half way across the US, but I called anyway. It was a Sunday, so we left a message. Darren called us back that evening and could not have been more helpful. After hearing what I was looking for in a "custom" bed, that had a farm barn look, and was made of real plywood, he explained that I didn't have to pay for a custom bed. He sent me photos of the exact bed I wanted and the price was great. Normally I would be hesitant to order something site unseen, and the color Darren recommended did not look like the color I described I wanted when I saw it online, but he made me so comfortable that I trusted his judgment and ordered the color he recommended. The bed arrived and the quality was every bit as good as he explained, all 3/4" high grade plywood and the color was PERFECT. He gave updates each step of the way until it was delivered and always replied to my emails. Assembly was easy and I couldn't be happier with the bed and service, all from over 1500 miles away!”
