“Show up early. often times there is a line wrapped around the store as people come from miles away to bless their taste buds with their down home flavors!!!!!So. I've had Southside, Meyers, kilbosa, and alot of other sausage... theirs is by far the best in my opinion. My absolute favorite is the cheese sausage.The ribeye steaks i promise you are so thick, rich, and beautifully marbled.... mouth-watering!!! Theu offer several cuts of beef, pork chops, pork belly, ground beef, and several other things!!Not to mention all the jams, preserves, pickles, jalapeños, okra, fresh baked bread.... the list goes on. You absolutely must experience this place for yourself.There is a reason ppl come from hours away to try this place!!!! It's worth it!!”
“An experience for me to learn hotto shop for items that are name brand. The cost of groceries keep going up . So I want to see differences in prices. WOW --- you can find some good deals here. Not the selective multi brands but focus in on their brands. I will definitely go back. ??”

“My wife and I typically try to always go to HEB for our gas because they usually have the best price on fuel. I work an hour away, so any money saved on gas is always a plus.”

“Small neighborhood store and deli. They Have a good little barbecue joint next door.
People in the deli are friendly and helpful. You can get a cold cut sandwich there like bologna, turkey, etc 8$2 Add a small bag of chips for 50 cents. 12oz can soda for a dollar”
“The store was super busy on a Thursday night. And When I came in I was immediately impressed by how the store shelves looked! The staff that was on tonight had things looking sharp! Product was pulled up to the front of the shelves everything was very shoppable and organized. The only reason I can’t get five stars is because when I came out to my car somebody had thrown up right next to my drivers side door. ??”
“We always stop by when we are passing through. (about once a month). Staff is friendly, the store is clean, and the bathroom is always clean! They always have everything we are looking for in stock.”

“Has great stock on shelves. Always a good selection of meat cuts and dairy. I only shop around the outside wall so couldn't say much about the isles running through the middle. Very tidy store with nice flowers out front.”

“I went in here and new it was a Spanish store for the Mexican immigrants we have in Texas, it was like being in another country loved it. Anyone looking for a vacation were you don't have to travel far this is it just loved it. Friendly people had to get a translator to help me at times but everyone was willing to help. Pretty Lady's here Also.”

“This is my favorite Dollar General Store. Not only does it offer a variety of merchandise, but it's close to home.This Dollar General has an amazing group of people working there now. The Manager, the Asst. Manager and the staff are very friendly, efficient and they all make me feel at home.There's been a huge improvement with the store layout and merchandise display, not to mention the cleanliness of the establishment. “If you haven't been in a while you should give them a try, they've doubled the size of the store tripled the selection and even added a beer cave. They also now have two gas pumps instead of just one although I think they still only have diesel and regular unleaded. The staff is friendly and as convenience stores go the prices are fairly reasonable on most things. They finished their renovations a while ago but they still have yet to get the soda fountain back in, and while the wall says coffee there is none except for in the cooler in bottles or on the shelves waiting to be made at home. oh and they have a few game adult gaming machines.”
