“We got a flat tire so we came to Hernandez Tire shop which was the nearest open tire shop. It was 7:35pm, 25 minutes before close and Maurice gladly helped us. He showed us the hole in the tire and informed us that patching it would be temporary at best and recommended a new or used tire for replacement. He went out of his way to try to find a matching tire but ultimately went with the patch. I would 10/10 recommend anyone looking to get tire service. Like I said we went right before close and were met with great service and willingness to help. Ask for Maurice during your visit!”
“Great family owned and operated business. Friendly fast service, gave me a free suspension diagnosis along w/military discount (Army Vet), completed all repairs (tie rods, control bars, cv axles, new tires) in less than half a day. Great financing options
During alignment they identified a previously unknown frame issue I have and helped diagnose and even waived the alignment fee.

“This shop came highly recommended when I was in a bit of a bind with my rim being cracked. They took my car in the same day I called and repaired the crack. I had a small leak coming thru the same rim a few weeks later and without hesitation they took it right back in to examine it and repair it further so it’s back to good again. “Have been here three times. Brakes done, excellent price. They did front brakes, they said re ar brakes were ok. Came back a few months later, noise from brakes. They diagnosed issue and did a quick fix (lubricant issue). No charge. Thank you Carlos. Different car (dealer wanted $400+) Carlos again diagnosed issue, and again NO CHARGE!! Saved $400+. Thanks again for your honest service. Greatly appreciated.”
“One of the great things about doing business with Discount Tire is that your warranty is good at any location. I know zero about cars, just that it drives or doesn't. Thankfully I have people like Discount Tire that can look after my car even when I am out of town. When I was driving through San Antonio from Dallas I noticed that my car didn't seem to be driving correctly, so I stopped in to this location for some peace of mind that it was safe to drive. It turned out that one of my tires had a serious issue, and they were not only able to quickly resolve the issue, they were courteous, very forthcoming by showing me the issue, and actually had me back on the road an hour faster than anticipated. That is customer service! On a 100 degree day, the cold water in the fridge was also a nice touch. Thanks so much for your help and speedy service!”

“I came to this place not knowing what to do! I was crying hysterically cause I couldn’t afford a tired , I didn’t want to get another credit card, a kid by the name of Ryan came to my car listened to my concerns and he told me he would take care of me today. I don’t know how he did it but I was able to get everything taken care of at a price I didn’t even think was possible. I will never go anywhere else to get my tires fixed exchanged or rotated !!!! This was my 1st time here and I am now and forever will be a loyal customer! The cashier Eddie also took care of me he was sweet and very understanding and he too helped out with my 1st time being here. This was over all the best car service place I’ve been to in my life! I am a new car owner and don’t know anything about cars. “I visited knowing I only had so much to spend. I wanted to upgrade tires, but didn't have the money for another 2 weeks. I told Adolfo & he was able to suggest Affirm to help get the tires i wanted. He was genuinely concerned about me driving on unsafe tires. He also suggested wipers & I needed a sensor changed. They were able to do everything for the amount I could afford plus the financing. It was so helpful & I appreciate how quickly they got it done. Thank you for everything!”
“Thank you to Gil’s for helping me out at the last minute. Coming out of work, I had a slashed flat tire and they pulled through and got me taken care of so I could go home. I’d called several places before them and it was about closing time for everyone. So, i understand the rush to close out. They were the only ones who were able to do the job. I truly appreciate them.
The men were gentlemen and respectful. And thank you ALEX. It was his turn to do the service. The price was right-$80 for a new tire. Again, I’d called other places and even a used one was at least $75. I would definitely recommend this place. They reminded me of The Christmas ? season. God bless.”

“Outstanding. I would give more stars if I have the option. Ryan and Manuel were professional and friendly. I went in for 2 new tires. Ryan offered me a good deal but, while they were working on my car, Manny noticed a nail in one of the tires, Ryan checked and also noticed that tire with the nail was bad. Ryan and team replaced that 3rd tire at almost not cost. I also did an alignment service. Car feels great.

“These guys are amazing!!!!!!!! I stopped to get my annual DOT done on the tractor, they got me right in and out in record time. By saying don't think they weren't efficient, because they were. The tech/ mechanic (Micheal) even put hose dividers on because he saw my air hoses showed signs of rubbing. They are very professional and friendly ( Kirsten in the front)
