“We got a flat tire so we came to Hernandez Tire shop which was the nearest open tire shop. It was 7:35pm, 25 minutes before close and Maurice gladly helped us. He showed us the hole in the tire and informed us that patching it would be temporary at best and recommended a new or used tire for replacement. He went out of his way to try to find a matching tire but ultimately went with the patch. I would 10/10 recommend anyone looking to get tire service. Like I said we went right before close and were met with great service and willingness to help. Ask for Maurice during your visit!”

During alignment they identified a previously unknown frame issue I have and helped diagnose and even waived the alignment fee.

“This shop came highly recommended when I was in a bit of a bind with my rim being cracked. They took my car in the same day I called and repaired the crack. I had a small leak coming thru the same rim a few weeks later and without hesitation they took it right back in to examine it and repair it further so it’s back to good again. Solid work and they do honest work. Thank you Jay!”

“Have been here three times. Brakes done, excellent price. They did front brakes, they said re ar brakes were ok. Came back a few months later, noise from brakes. They diagnosed issue and did a quick fix (lubricant issue). No charge. Thank you Carlos. Different car (dealer wanted $400+) Carlos again diagnosed issue, and again NO CHARGE!! Saved $400+. Thanks again for your honest service. Greatly appreciated.”
“One of the great things about doing business with Discount Tire is that your warranty is good at any location. I know zero about cars, just that it drives or doesn't. Thankfully I have people like Discount Tire that can look after my car even when I am out of town. When I was driving through San Antonio from Dallas I noticed that my car didn't seem to be driving correctly, so I stopped in to this location for some peace of mind that it was safe to drive. It turned out that one of my tires had a serious issue, and they were not only able to quickly resolve the issue, they were courteous, very forthcoming by showing me the issue, and actually had me back on the road an hour faster than anticipated. That is customer service! On a 100 degree day, the cold water in the fridge was also a nice touch. Thanks so much for your help and speedy service!”

“I came to this place not knowing what to do! I was crying hysterically cause I couldn’t afford a tired , I didn’t want to get another credit card, a kid by the name of Ryan came to my car listened to my concerns and he told me he would take care of me today. I don’t know how he did it but I was able to get everything taken care of at a price I didn’t even think was possible. I will never go anywhere else to get my tires fixed exchanged or rotated !!!! This was my 1st time here and I am now and forever will be a loyal customer! The cashier Eddie also took care of me he was sweet and very understanding and he too helped out with my 1st time being here. This was over all the best car service place I’ve been to in my life! I am a new car owner and don’t know anything about cars. He was genuinely concerned about me driving on unsafe tires. He also suggested wipers & I needed a sensor changed. They were able to do everything for the amount I could afford plus the financing. “As soon as you walk in, you are greeted. They let you know that you will be served and once you get to talk to them, you are given an estimate of time it will take. Where else can you go that gives this kind of service when dealing with issues on your vehicle? These guys are fantastic! Everyone is friendly, helpful and very honest with you. We recently had a flat tire and was worried we would need another tire. The gentleman that assisted me was so very nice and even assured me that they would let me know if there was damage to the tire. It was later in the day about 1 hour till closing and one would think they are ready to head out the door after working hard all day. But he was so professional and courteous keeping me posted. I am grateful 🙏 to this business and will continue to go there knowing I can trust them. Thank you!”
