The shopping experience at this H‑E‑B is great. However, there are some significant flaws in how the store is managed. The store closes at 11 PM but they close their lost and found at 9 PM. I went shopping there at 8 PM and came back immediately once I realized I left my phone at check out. The manager said I wouldn’t be able to get my phone back until 6 AM the next day because the bookkeepers in charge of lost and found leave at 9pm! That is 2 hours before the store closes!
It is deeply concerning that lost and found doesn’t have the same hours as the store or keep someone with access on site. They say it is for safety reasons but it severely limits customers ability to reclaim important possessions like lost keys, phones, wallets, etc. and potentially puts people’s possessions at risk.
This has been a really bad experience for me. I hope none of you have to go through this too.

Best location by my house but curb side continues to forget an item of mine. This has happened on 4 different occasions.

Have had such a great experience at this location until this weekend. Received a gift card for lululemon purchased from HEB as a Christmas gift. Went to redeem it to find out that the money loaded onto it was spent, as someone had stolen the card information. Spoke with management at HEB Montrose to find out that this is a known scam happening at this store. I understand that this is a scam that can happen anywhere, but it's unfortunate that the team here knows about the scam and it seems as though nothing is being done to prevent it. Such a bummer.

Beautiful store and great selection of items it's just the cashier's that makes my experience negative. Every cashier who is non- African American has been rude to me. I've called management about this multiple times but nothing is being done. The cashier Mayra C . who is either Hispanic or white decent has been rude to me, she didn't greet me prompting me to engage with her. All I got was a lame blank facial expression. When I was leaving out I noticed she greeted the customer behind me who is white. It's hard being an black man especially shopping at the grocery store.

We’re visiting Houston and came upon HEB by chance.
We were not disappointed.
The store is clean (even with construction going on) and fully stocked though it was very busy.
The produce was fresh and we were able to get a couple peaches which we aren’t available in our state atm.
The prices are very reasonable and the staff were really friendly and helpful.
Def my go to from now on.

Always a great brand, but this location had gone down hill. Out of a lot of basics and no staff to help. Other locations are better and this store manager needs a wake up call.

I’ve been shopping here for a while. An excellent grocery store, but they do not have enough parking. And if you’re like me and think curbside will be quicker, think again! It’s like the wait time at the Doc’s office now or the USPS. Good luck!

I’m disappointed to leave a subpar review because I love HEB but this location’s Curbside offering has declined so much. It’s really frustrating. I’ve been doing Curbside here for 5 years and for the last 6 months or so (maybe since construction started?) Curbside is a nightmare. They don’t honor the time slots, there is an hour + line to even get parked in a spot, and then once you’re in a spot, it’s a 45+ minute wait to have your groceries brought to your car. I want to be clear that my issue is not with the partners who are bringing the groceries out, they couldn’t be nicer and always apologize for the delay. My issue is with the management. It’s simply not run very well anymore. And when I call to reschedule my order or try to ask for support, I’ve been met with attitudes. Just passing along my feedback!
