Heights Common Market, located on the corner of 18th St. and Yale St. in Houston Heights, is a historic marketplace that has been part of the community since 1996. It features eight independently run shops, each offering a variety of unique items, including art, toys, clothing, and oddities. The marketplace has evolved over the years, now hosting a range of small businesses by local artists and creators. Visitors often praise the shops for their friendly staff, knowledgeable owners, and the enjoyable experience of exploring different stores. Many mention the beautiful artwork, hand-knit items, sculptures, and other handcrafted goods available for purchase, often at higher prices due to their local and handmade nature. Although some stores can be warm inside during hot days, visitors find the variety and uniqueness well worth the visit. Overall, Heights Common Market is a delightful shopping destination for those seeking one-of-a-kind items and a friendly, welcoming atmosphere.
Always a great place for interesting one of a kind items.

I went there to pick up an Amazon package, but was pleasantly surprised. The unusual art items in this store were great... Some of which I plan on returning to purchase. A few are a little pricey, but they are one of a kind pieces done by local artists!

This market is cute and fun. The building is rather worn down though.
