“Helpful and knowledgeable about the coin markets. When I went in overhead the owner say "Bring in your coin and evaluate for no charge as the man had complained about another place that was going to charge for his opinion of the coin. The other customer was with his kids making coin books - nice wholesome place!”

“Our original estate sale company ghosted us, putting us in an enormous bind. Blue Moon came to our rescue and worked within our five-day sale timeline. The neighbors commented on how professional things were run and we had great communication throughout the process (including progress videos during the sale). These guys went above and beyond to help us and we couldn't recommend them more highly. Hire them.”

“Such a wonderful place! My husband and I were in from DFW and love antiquing. We were greeted as soon as we walked in and the hospitality just continued from there. They offered to play any of the vinyls were were interested in, try on the jewelry and were extremely knowledgeable about everything in the shop! I collect miniatures, and found a Pixie Mini camera with the original user manual and case at a truly amazing price! We will definitely be back to look for more treasures”

“A wonderful gem! Prices are good and array of antiques is outstanding. Just charming! My only complaint is that we got there only a little before closing and wanted more time to explore all the books, nooks and crannies! But the owners were friendly and hospitable and didn't rush us out at all!!! Can't wait to go back with more time to explore. And there's everything from huge church statues to pottery, from ephemera to architectural, from antique prints to telephones... .”

“Had a contemporary vinyl chair where the vinyl was literally peeling off the backing fabric..what a mess! Sent some pics to Vincent & Johnny who assessed & quoted a good price using a top quality vinyl. A few weeks later my chair is back; Definitely better than new! Great quality & workmanship!!!”

“Chappell Jordan Gallery is simply the best! They stored and serviced the larged Charles Sliegh Grandfather Clock while home restoration was performed. Whether making arrangements with Theresa or pick-up, service and delivery by Aaron and helper, you will not meet a more friendly, competent and caring staff. I was so impressed, I entrusted them with the diagnosis and service of my antique Gustav-Becker antique wall clock! You will no encounter a better service team!”

“I found WHAM while driving to the GW on the I-10. I've been there twice now, and found some interesting items. Their prices are fair and they have a constant rotation of goods and 50% off sales on different categories. Cashier and staff are very nice. The only thing I wish they'd do was open a dressing room, since you can't try on clothes and all sales are final. However, for $4 for a shirt or sweater or pants, you can't really complain too much. Their clothing does seem rather boutique and you can find some brand name clothes for a steal. They have a large selection of books ($1.50-$3) and smaller selection of CDs ($1.50), DVDs, and some games. You can also donate and feel like you know where the money is going.”

“Okay, the thing to understand about this gem is that this place is owned by diehard champion OGs. They’ve been here nearly 30 years and have had their business all but ruined by big chains, namely: Walgreens. For residents looking to spend local, let’s go! This amazing place has it all. If they don’t have it they’ll order it in for you so it’s there as a convenience the next time. Walking in i was welcomed with a warm hello and the smell of something heavenly wafting towards me from the back of the store where the owner was busy chopping onions. I felt like I’d just come in from a storm. Comforted and eased in to all the store had to offer. This mom and pop is one of a kind and worth the community’s attention. I’ve been used to living in heavily populated areas, as well as small ghost towns. The sweetest thing about Champion Mart is that it’s right off of FM 1960 [just behind that monster Walgreens] and you’ll be treated just as kindly as you are. Meaning don’t go in there and act a fool. Seriously, these are hard working people who have evolved the store to stay alive, they certainly have my respect. Keep your judgments to yourself. Have a talk with whomever is working when you go in. You’ll forget the big hard city and feel down home within moments. And when I say they do it all, friends… catering that includes crawfish boils, fried turkey during the season. a selection of alcoholic and non alcoholic beverages, eggs, milk, little necessities, antiques from area estate sales with prices that’ll knock your socks off. China, sausage, mirrors [with antique/antique-looking garish frames that are sooooo in right now]. What’s not to love for a corner store? I’ll be back soon and hope y’all will give this amazing local business some of your time.”

She was so sweet and patient and saved me so much time and hassle. Back Row Home is my go to spot for gifts and household decor when I need it. I would buy the whole store if I could!”

“Joe, Larry and Tim are second generation carpenters and they do amazing work! We did a large home addition, and I drew exactly what I wanted and they made everything spot on. First, they made the addition windows to match the design of our homes original 1920’s windows. They also made our 4 beautiful exterior doors, closet doors and our 18’ x8’ garage door. We highly recommend them for their outstanding craftsmanship and their wonderful personalities!”

“My annual family trip to TX would not be complete without a tour of the short list of gorgeous design boutiques my discriminating family regularly curates nearby. Found is a constant on this list. Wonderful combinations of classic staples, modern essentials and unique accents items are available - each presented in creative inspired vignettes. Though it's not practical to bring items home with me personally, it's difficult to leave without ideas for improving my own space far away and an item or two on the wish list for the local family home if not in tow! Designers in store are always kind, patient and informed. Recommend you add to your inspiration rotation!”
