I LOVED my experience here!! I have a ferret with adrenal disease, and my experience taking her here to be diagnosed and treated was so comforting! The girl at the front desk and the technician that we saw were very kind. Dr. Yu was so kind and informative, giving me clear details about the disease, my treatment options, and what would be best for my lil baby, answering all of my questions. I definitely felt that they really care, and I'm so happy I found them!

DON'T DO IT. I rescued my dog a few years ago and have consistently brought her here. I loved Dr Menzie and Shelley, but when they left, I should have stop going there. On my last visit about a month ago, my dog winced in pain when Dr Mai looked in her ears. I originally brought her in for a bump on her eye that Dr Mai said was just a growth. Less than 24 hours later, I was at the emergency vet for a bad ear infection that had traveled down to her eye and cheek with an abscess. That was annoying, but doesn't compare to why I would never go there anymore.I took my dog in for a routine cleaning. I was called an hour later by Dr Mai, who kept rambling on about my dog being given 5x the amount of Anesthetia. Long story short, there was a "miscommunication" between Dr Mai and Erika the vet tech and they OVERDOSED my dog! I had to stop her from talking to ask if my dog was alive. Thankfully she was, but she spent the entire day on oxygen & IV fluids. She was so out of it, poor thing. I spoke with Dr Mai & Dr Pena about the incident and they downplayed it and kept saying it was a error. Dr Pena said it was fine for them to be the punching bag, as if my anger was misplaced. You did this to my dog. This scenario was negligence. I'm not in the medical profession, but I'm not sure how you confuse volume of liquid for a 12 lb dog vs a 50 lb dog. I felt uneasy about Dr Mai acting like all was 100% okay at the day's end when my dog was clearly not herself. When I left they told me to bring her back in the morning just as a precautionary. When I got home, they proceeded to call me twice and text me asking to charge my card on file for my services that day! Unreal. Gross negligence, followed by gross incompetence. The next day, she was clearly still unwell. Staring off into space and not responding to her name. No other vets would take her, so against everything I wanted to do, I took her back to ask if I should take her to the emergency vet. I met with Toni and Dr Slack who were wonderful. Toni has seen my dog before and has always been great with her. Dr Slack was smart and handled the situation as it should have been. She was forth coming with me about them not handling this correctly and that this should have never happened to begin with. She apologized for anyone suggesting that I should pay and told me that today further treatment for this would not be charged either. She put my dog on IV fluids all day to monitor her low blood pressure and told me that she was not out of the woods yet. Finally people who were honest and forthcoming. After all is said and done, my dog is recovered and safe. I cannot trust this place with my fur baby anymore. If Dr Slack was at another location, I'd definitely go see her again. I do not recommend Heights Vet clinic for the safety & unprofessionalism that I experienced.

I did a new patient exam with my senior (14 yr old) who I wanted to establish with a nearby vet due to her health concerns. She's not the definition of a "cooperative patient" but they set her up for success with a towel scented with Adaptil and patience! They were able to clean her ears and do a pressure test on her eyes.Dr. Slack and tech John were both wonderful with her and very informative!

Outstanding customer experience during a not so outstanding time. I unfortunately had to have my cat euthanized a couple of weeks ago. As a brand new customer cold calling, they made themselves available for us within 45 minutes on a Friday afternoon. From the time I arrived with my cat to the time I was in the room they prepared for him was less than 30 seconds. As someone who’s never been through this before, all members of the staff were compassionate, clear and concise with the procedure, and accommodating in every way possible. They can expect my return in the future as a result of the care and incredible service given during my experience.

My regular veterinarian couldn't set an appointment for my dog for 6 days when he had an ear infection and was in need of having them cleaned (because they're great, and in-demand), so I made an appointment at Heights Veterinary Clinic for my dog. It will be his first and last due to two reasons. First, because they mark up prices for medication and cleaning solution by 100% over retail. My vet doesn't engage in price-gouging, but they have no issue with doing so here. I've had experience with this practice when I had a cat, so when the vet tech (short-haired, quite young) left the products in the room with us after stepping out, I googled them and found out I was being rooked. Second, when the vet tech returned I politely declined purchasing the items and explained that I could get both of them for less than half the price they were charging. She said, "we have to make our money too". I replied that my savings would buy a big old bag of dog food and she responded with a deadpan, very snarky, "woo-hoo". That's not the way to treat a patient guardian or the situation at all. She shouldn't even be in examining rooms with them. We'll definitely not be returning and I'll strongly recommend against anyone wasting their hard-earned money there either. Your tech and the gouging blew it entirely, but the vet seemed very nice, aside from condoning price-gouging as many do. But not mine.Extra star for the vet's manner and advice.

After almost 20 years of doctor-patient relationship since the original owner, the current owner(s) have thrown the original, legendary vision and concept out the window. As of yesterday, I have asked Dr. Rodriguez to pdf all my dog's medical records and I am not going back to this clinic anymore, and here is the summary of the story: My 6-month old miniature Schnauzer is a meticulously maintained puppy with custom hair cut where the legs have fluffy, full 2 inches hair all around. Instead of shaving enough hair on one leg for IV Catheter for my puppy's neuter surgery, they SHAVED 2 inches ALL AROUND the leg, completely ruined the look of an animal. On 10/2/2023, Cassie explained to me they could have been more careful to shave just enough area for IV catheter to avoid this issue. On 10/3/2023, Nathan claimed the shaving style is STANDARD and there is nothing it could be done differently. Nathan's claim is conflicting Cassie's statement, and that's the first red flag. (And Nathan, if you are reading this, please calm yourself down, LISTEN more and talk less is a much better way to resolve problem, and avoid the sarcastic tone with your customers). Later on 10/3/2023, Dr. Rodriguez called to back up Nathan's claim, however she also explained they could have done it differently to avoid this issue and would avoid such harsh harmful ugly shaving in the future, She further told me her story about a famous mascot's IV catheter was done in a hidden spot, with minimum shaving and no visible damage of the look of the dog, so this simply means they can pick and choose what to do and who the dog is. This is again and yet another conflicting fact that the shaving could have been minimum to avoid damaging a dog's look, but they chose to be careless and they simply do not care, unless you and your dog is a celebrity. Apologies is free and everybody can apologize, but I need action and ownership, and I asked for the clinic to own up to their mistake and to refund me the surgery cost, a simply gesture to assure me that they care. However I was told no refund, and there is nothing they can do. I was told I can leave(Not in a rude way) and to find another vet that can make me happy. To my believe, living human being can always take the right action to own up their mistake and make things better, and only DEAD people can do nothing because they are dead. The way they cover each other and conflicting themselves, unwilling to own up their mistake with excuses is unacceptable. I have asked for the full medical records of my puppy, and I choose not to be a part of such association.

We had a pet emergency and stopped in because it was the closest vet to us. The staff was extremely kind even though it was just past their closing time. They made sure our dog was stable and safe to travel to an emergency vet.

I found this clinic while searching for nearby places that treated birds. I had a 4 year old parakeet, Ikaros, who was experiencing some pretty severe health issues. They were so wonderful to both me and my parakeet - they put us in a room immediately so the lobby noises wouldn't stress him out. Offered me freshly brewed coffee, even offered a blanket because the room was a little on the chilly side. Both the technician, Rachel, and Dr. Yu were very gentle and focused on providing a minimal stress experience for Ikaros. Unfortunately, it turned into a Quality of Life conversation but I was aware of that possibility due to his condition. They handled him with care and explained the entire process to me, step by step before they proceeded. A very calming, Fear Free atmosphere with calming music playing in the room, not feeling rushed at any point. I'm glad to know this clinic is nearby and a gentle understanding option for all of my pets, big or small.

Absolutely amazing experience! I needed an urgent appointment and my regular place was booked so I came here. This is now our household's vet. Everyone was so caring, helpful and knowledge. Dr Yu personally called me with my pets test results and walked through it all in detail. Exceptional service and very reasonable prices.
