“Rooms: Room was spacious, clean and looked brand new. Stayed in the King balcony room. The minibar was stocked. Ice is delivered when needed. The water pressure and temperature had my wife happy. The window into the shower was a nice touch ;).Noteworthy details: You will be paying for parking. It is $46 a day without an alternate option. This is the only downside to the hotel.”

“The Houstonian is simply said, a gem. You feel on a country estate and yet you are in the middle of the city. The grounds are adorned with native plants and spectacular tree specimens (especially the one by the entrance), the pools are great (waddle on one side or go take a swimming lane), the staff is friendly and effortlessly efficient, the rooms are very comfortable and well set up, the restaurant is just perfect with what it does. Nothing too complicated but the food is tasty and well executed. I did not try the spa or the gym but I overheard some people in the lobby raving about it. Let's just say that the Houstonian will be my default destination from here on when in Houston.”

“I stayed here for a work event and enjoyed my stay. Lovely hotel just not a lot to do around it. Being from out of town the only places to eat near by are the hotel, a subway, and a gyro joint. I will say the Ubers aren’t too expensive to snag and go to more higher traffic areas that have food/shops/bars.Hotel gym has peloton only treadmills so you have to have a membership to use them. Pool is located on the rooftop which was nice. Staff and room was lovely!!Rooms: Lovely rooms. Very modernNearby activities: Not much. Must drive about 5-10 min to other area/district for food and activities.Safety: Hotel felt safe overall. The area around the hotel is mostly medical buildingsWalkability: Not a lot to walk to. Subway was about a 5 min walk.Food & drinks: Hotel does have food and a bar. It only has 3 reviews so I choose to eat else where.”

“I have stayed here 3 times now and it’s been perfect everytime. Love the complimentary snacks. The rooms are very spacious and have everything you would need even for longer stays. Moreover, the pool and gym are a must use as they are kept clean and tidy. My reasoning for the 4 stars is that one of the elevators is always out of service which makes it an unnecessarily long wait.”

“We stayed for 2 nights while visiting our new grandson. The hotel was clean and welcoming. Our room was spacious and clean. They do allow dogs, but the $75 pet fee is quite steep. The breakfast was enjoyable and had both hot and cold choices. I wish they had a better GF selection, but the fruit and eggs were fine. The bar/food counter could use a little help as the concierge was the only one making the food/serving drinks and checking people in. We did enjoy our stay and would stay again.”

“I had to get on here and leave a review for the Events Team…especially Rida. My son got married New Years Eve and the whole of planning was not an easy task. Rida and the Hotel Zaza team were amazing and so professional. From our first meeting to the day we checked out after the wedding was pleasant. I can’t recommend Hotel Zaza and Rida enough. From the time we walked in for the first time to the day after the wedding, service was always hands down amazing. Our rooms were gorgeous and clean. The food was amazing. The events team was so wonderful to work with from the rehearsal dinner to the late night party after the wedding. Absolutely amazing!!!Rooms: The rooms were beautiful and so comfortable. “Nice quiet location, right across the street from a few good restaurants. The staff was not perfectly mannered on our arrival, but the manager profusely apologized for this. The rooms were cute and well styled. Great toiletries and water pressure in the shower.Unfortunately, we had a water leak in our room, and some of my things were damaged, but management immediately offered to reimburse me. We were switched to another room, and which was fine.The beds were firm and not particularly my favorite, but they were tolerable.Most of the rooms had a kitchen area with pots and pans, and other basic kitchen utensils. Microwave, fridge, stovetop. The in room coffee and tea was not good.Overall, a little underwhelming”

“Hotel very clean and everyone was nice. Van picked me up from the airport. Dinner was a non-event. Went down about 7pm and there were maybe 5 others at the bar. I have stayed at Hilton Gardens in the past and had exceptional service. This was not one of those experiences. The lady “working” the bar was hardly there. I ordered a drink finally and had planned to order dinner but could see she was not sure what she was doing when she was there. Most of the time she was in the kitchen. One gentleman near me had an empty bottle on the edge of the bar obviously waiting for another but was never asked if he wanted one. Others made comments she was either unskilled or overwhelmed. I finally paid for my drink and walked away. I was going to get some chips or popcorn in the snack area but there were none stocked. I got two beers, charged them to my room, and left. I will stay at another local property from here on.”

“I hit the club 3/4/5 mornings per week after dropping g my daughter at school. The club is on my way home.It is nice to be able to get a 30 min bike ride in along with a shower and clean shave before heading home to begin the work day.As a resident member, I am able to grab a piece of fruit or two as well coming or going which is a healthier breakfast than eating fast food or donuts.”

“Our stay was amazing. I am very picky and we needed a place to stay the night before our cruise. This Fairfield hotel was new, clean, esthetically pleasing, and had a great staff. Shoutout to the guy at the front desk with the food truck spot recommendation! We didn’t swim, but the pool looked very nice and is heated. Highly recommend!”

“I’m so excited to share my experience at The Whitehall. Checkin was smooth. I was extremely satisfied that I extended my stay. The location was perfect and in proximity of great restaurants, banking and pharmacy. The staff is amazing , southern hospitality is real. I was greeted daily by name and there was convention held at the same time so I felt even special. Jose at the restaurant on 2nd floor made delicious margarita for me and my guest. I would recommend staying at The Whitehall.”

“We stayed here as a family for a visit to the Space Center Houston / Johnson Space Center. This hotel is a 2 minute drive to McDonald's and a 3 minute drive to the Space Center. Super convenient. Motel style lodging with parking outside your room door. Doors and walls need updated, painted. Staff was pleasant and efficient. I peeked in at breakfast and did not see much of anything offered. I grabbed a cup of coffee and called it good. We felt safe in the area. Not a luxury stay but could not be any more convenient to visit Space Center Houston.”
