Insomnia Gallery is a low brow and pop culture gallery located in Houston's East End. It hosts a variety of events such as live music, vendor markets, and swap meets, making it a vibrant community space. The gallery is also home to Deep End Records, an independent record shop dedicated to local music and rarities. Visitors have praised the friendly environment, with welcoming staff and artists willing to share their setups and work. The gallery has been around since the 1960s and offers affordable rental spaces, though with a five-year waiting list. It was cool. The slasher movie exhibition was really different and interesting. However, the free drinks were not the best unless you are a beer drinker.
