“I decided to throw myself a birthday party short notice I saw ads on Instagram about this location, so I reached out. Booked an appointment to come in to speak to someone they let me know that the second location was gonna be built. I was kind of skeptical when he let me know that they did have a second location. It wasn’t ready when he took me over there to see the location it was nothing but the floors and the walls painted, but I could see the big vision I booked for the second location on Sunset. The customer service was superb. Everything was beautiful, consistent communication up into the party and I appreciate everything that they did to make my day special. You guys rock.”

Totally worth it. They've got a ton of paintings in the store and will do custom work if you want something made. No hesitation. I'll be back.”

“I didn't take pics of the space, and I wish I did. I came here for my friend's art show and the I actually loved the look of this building. My friend had a large space to setup all of her work and even a table for art activities for the kids who came to the gallery. It has so many original features from when it was first built, and is kept up very well. I loved the huge arch window and the brick. The owner is extremely sweet and enjoyed chatting with her while there. Hopefully I can rent this space for my own art in the future, it's a nice set up.”

“I dont usually go to Art Galleries for an outing but I treated myself to this one. The curator was very friendly. You have to ring a bell to be let in, but once inside you are free to roam. They had several artists on display yesterday August 17th 2026. I truly enjoyed my visit there. So well maintained. They have two wax figure security guards that I thought were real people at first glance!!! 😳 OH photos are not allowed!!! Just a FYI”

Not only is the quality of their framing second to none but their customer service is excellent. Once you start framing things the Warehouse Frames n’ Gallery way you’ll never want to go back. They will sit with you and your piece, help you pick between frame options, mats, fillets, glass - whatever you might need. My advice is go in with an open mind and let them guide you to the perfect look - these guys are pros. Pricing is fair for the quality of the work and turn around is pretty quick for custom framing. Don’t waste your time with Michael’s and Hobby Lobby anymore. If you want something that looks beautiful in your home, custom framing at Warehouse Frames n’ Gallery is the way to go.”

“My art teacher, professional artist Chu Okoli, referred me to John to try custom framing. At New Art, John works unpretentiously with me to choose styles of framing that I want: without or with mats and what sizes and colors, what thicknesses for the mouldings. When I forget yet again, he explains the differences between regular, non-glare, UV protective, and museum quality glass. Today John mentioned acrylic as an option instead of glass because a picture of mine had fallen off the wall, its glass shattering. The craftsmanship at New Art is excellent: Chu took the photograph here of his watercolor of my parents to show John’s work to his colleagues, saying, “It’s so clean!” At New Art, the prices are affordable and the turnaround is quick. The customer service is professional, with John being genuinely kind.”

“On my recent trip to Houston I visited several galleries to get an idea of what's happening in art there. In this gallery I had the great pleasure of meeting both the curator of their summer show and the gallery owner herself. In New York, gallerists and gallery workers ccannot typically be bothered with a visitor unless they have mountains of cash to spend on the art. My experience in the Barbara Davis gallery was very much the opposite. They were engaging and interesting and it resulted in a wandering conversation that touched on a number of things about both the art on view and collecting in general. If you're in Houston to see art, don't forget this stop. The work on the walls made an excellent case for Houston's art scene and, if you choose, you'll likely have some good discussion.”

“It’s conveniently located amongst the specialty museums. The facility looks large outside but its quite small inside. The reception staff are awesome and helpful - we even got complimentary parking and exhibition tickets for the Big Bang. The normal exhibition is quite small and I think people go here to relax and have a slow pace to their day. The 2nd floor is relaxing and you can bring your drink from the cafe shop downstairs.”
