“I had treated a philodendron in a way that didn’t suit it and it looked like it was at death’s door. Knowing that they would have both a product and words of advice, I went to see Chris and Ken. Equipped with Ken’s Potting Mix I cleaned away the old soil, found a few vital roots and repotted the plant starting over with new soil. The well drained Mix, rich with fresh nutrients, has already given the plant new growth. This philodendron will definitely be making it. This is one of countless times I’ve counted on the experts at Quality Feed. So glad they are around!”
“Love this place. Staff was very knowledgeable and very helpful. The prices are outstanding. I normally go to Lowe's, home Depot, tractor supply for plants for the garden. Not no more. I will be coming here. Why pay $6 when I can pay three! And the plants are in great quality. Ours are not the best but thankfully they are open on the weekends.
I am not sure if they offer a military discount. I did not ask.”

UPDATE: I’ve been here multiple times to buy more, about 8 plants, and to ask the staff (all are knowledgeable!) about issues with two of my beauties.
I’m not the best plant mom, so I know it’s me who is “killing” the two in distress.
Despite user error, the owner offered to “fix” my plants if I brought them back.
Is the store is like a hospital for plants!!??
Now, this is not a real service, and really just because I seemed distraught. But it was nice to know they were willing to help.
Oh also, they wrap up your plants! I love this, as it protects during transport.

“What a great store. If you're tired of walking through the huge, big box stores, give Southwest Fertilizer a try. They are easy to get to, lots of parking, helpful, friendly people who know where everything in the store is. And their prices are great. Who doesn't love a good hardware store! “I spent 30 mins driving here in rush hour traffic on a Friday because my cousin recommended it. I thought they closed at 6, but upon pulling into the parking lot noticed they were locking up at 4:59. I rolled down my window to ask, and Erica notified me that they close at 5 during the fall. I thanked her and went to leave but she stopped me and invited me in. I promised to be quick, but she encouraged me to take my time. She was warm, friendly, made a point to learn my name, ask me questions, and provide recommendations. This kind of service is hard to come by today. I am beyond impressed, and was bestowed the same kind, friendly demeanor by every other employee. The plants were STUNNING and well cared for, not to mention well priced. “I had such a great experience here I had to write a review. I cannot stress how amazing the customer service is here!! All of the employees are SO passionate about what they do and are extremely knowledgeable. While they mainly specialize in orchids they have wide selection of plants as well. Out of gardening store I have been to in Houston, this place blows it out of the park, with a great selection of orchids as well as other services. I went and got my plant repotted today and they picked out the right soil mix and let me know that my plant was going to be super happy AND charged me an extremely competitive price for the soil and pot compared to what I’ve seen at other stores.”

“I bought a nice self propelling battery mower at a different location of Home Depot. Took it out of the box, read the instructions, charged and installed two batteries, started it to hear an immediate tukking noise, shut it off, turned it on it's side and saw where the blade was impacting the deck sidewall. Boxed it back up and took it back to the store i bought it at. They told me their computer system was down nationwide and they couldn't do any returns or exchanges. Waited more than a few hours and tried to call both of the closest stores to me to see if their network was back up. No luck. Went to the Hillcroft store, which is a little further away, because my computer showed they had more of this model in stock. The assistant manager whose name was Vini was a great help, the network was still down but since the product i wanted to exchange was a store brand, he could exchange it, he even helped me look at the new one to make sure the mower blade spun freely. We will be back to this location.”

“We went to Home Depot last Sunday because my mom wanted to purchase a new washer. She had seen that there was a rebate she could use for 3 more days and wanted to take advantage of it. She also wanted to apply for a Home Depot card. Daejia assisted us with that. She led us to a register and showed us how to go step by step to fill it out. She didn't abandon us during the process. She stayed til we completed it. Mom was approved so we went to the washer/dryer section of the store. Since she had been there the day before she had spoken to Nae and said she was a big help. She doesn't make these decisions alone so I had to come with her to make sure everything checked out. Mom always knows what she wants and makes sure she gets what she has in mind. She wanted a Maytag washing machine with a warranty and a sliding tray for under the machine. She is a fan of Maytag and found the perfect one. Lakrecia and Julian were a big help with this transaction. Lakrecia started the order for us and applied everything as we explained what we wanted and used the card information we had just qualified for. After a few minutes, she drew up our invoice with the delivery date set. This entire crew was awesome! I really can't say enough about how helpful and patient they are. I know HD gets a lot of customers but they take the time to assist and make sure you get through your transaction. The delivery date was four days later and although I wasn't there, I did get the call for mom that the delivery guys were 10 minutes away. My mom said the guys were so nice and helpful. She was so pleased with how easy the delivery was, in fact, the whole experience, she asked me to write a Yelp review to let you know. Thank you for all your help and for just being awesome all around! Mom washed right away and loves her new washing machine!”

“My husband and I just finished our project with Klein! Working with them has been seamless from start to finish.Just some background - over the past couple of months, I had reached out to at least 10 contractors for our drainage and landscaping needs for an older home we recently purchased. Only 4 companies got back to me with an estimate, and we decided to go with Klein Landscaping due to the great reviews, responsiveness, willingness to work with us, and value.I had been in contact with Eduardo, who came out to see what my vision and needs were. He was very responsive, flexible, not pushy, and had my best interests at heart (working with what I already had at my house to maximize results within the budget), and I loved that he had a positive attitude. He got back to me with a quote shortly, and I needed to make some changes, so he came back out again to talk it over with me.My house is over 40 years old so this was no easy project to add 165 feet of yard drainage, clean up, level and grade my courtyard to maximize drainage, and clean up the garden beds in front that had been very neglected, in addition to grading some other areas.In total, the project took 6 days. Eduardo's foreman, Enrique, and his 2 team members were sweet, polite, and very hardworking. Enrique is a perfectionist, and put my mind at ease because I knew he understood my vision and was going to execute it to perfection. Enrique is very detail oriented, and took the time to answer all of my questions and explain to me the process of the project. You can tell they take a lot of pride in their work as it is very reflective in their quality. They also left my house cleaner than it was before they came, haha. And, payment was easy.I couldn't be happier with the results. It is better than I could have imagined, and most importantly, I now have great drainage. I would recommend Klein Landscaping 1000% and would go with them again in a heart beat! Thank you so much, Eduardo, Enrique, & team!”
