I had an issue with my SIM card after switching phones. It kept throwing an error message and essentially left me without a working phone. I stopped by the Verizon store expecting the usual long wait and uncertainty about whether my issue could even be resolved. But today was a win.
As soon as I walked in, I was greeted by Cesar. He listened carefully to my concern, repeated it back to ensure he understood, and confidently let me know he could help. True to his word, he got my phone up and running in about 20 minutes.
Cesar was professional, efficient, and knowledgeable. On top of that, he shared information about Verizon's home internet service and the 30-day trial currently available which I appreciated since he wasn't pushy, just informative.
It's not often you leave a phone store pleasantly surprised, but that was definitely my experience today.

They have people working there who stand around and hide in the back instead of helping every customer that walks in. We were waiting on someone we talked to and he never came back to help us. He Just went to hide in the back with his coworkers who wait for customers to get tired of waiting and leave. They clearly don't have to help anyone if they don't want to, I mean they still get a paycheck either way right!

Avoid this store. I’ve visited twice within a 30-day period, and both experiences were disappointing.
First visit: I went in for assistance with a corporate line because my phone wasn’t getting any signal. I presented my employee badge, driver’s license, iPhone PIN, and Apple ID credentials. Despite having all the necessary information, the staff refused to help. They didn’t even attempt to call Verizon’s customer support on my behalf. I left with the issue unresolved—and ended up fixing it myself later (without any help from this location).
Second visit: I came in to exchange a mobile hotspot I had recently rented from a different Verizon store. This time it was a personal account. After setting up the device at home, I realized the Orbic unit they gave me was only 4G, even though I’m paying for a 5G plan. Naturally, I wasn’t getting the speeds I expected.
When I arrived at the store, I waited 30 minutes before being seen. I was then told I needed the original box to process the exchange—something they didn’t mention initially. I went back home, got the box, returned, and waited another hour. By then, both the original associate and the manager were gone. A new representative began helping me and informed me there would be a restocking fee.
Why am I being charged a restocking fee for an exchange caused by Verizon’s mistake? I didn’t choose the wrong device—they sold me one that’s incompatible with the service I’m paying for.
At this point, I’m seriously considering disputing the charge with my credit card company, returning the device entirely, and purchasing a hotspot elsewhere—perhaps from Best Buy or online.
Very poor customer service. Extremely disappointed.

I had 12/20/24 Exceptional person and experience with Ernesto and Oscar at Verizon Wireless 249-Willowbrook. I recently loss my husband and they were caring helpful and amazing to assist with changing over his account. Verizon needs more professionals like these two. Words cannot express how amazing these two are. Fabulous Outstanding Fantastic ❤️❤️

Staff were not knowledgeable of the products they sold and downplayed the quality of the products we bought, charged us a restocking fee even though we were told it was in our right to check the size of the product we bought. The lack of understanding and clarification coming from the staff was very frustrating as they did not understand some of the questions we asked and had to clarify on our end and were still given improper information. We normally have good customer service but today was terrible.

If customer service was a skill, then this establishment lacks it. I encountered an elderly woman who was having difficulty using the outdated self-checkout machine, and the employees disregarded her, leaving her to figure it out on her own. Verizon charges premium prices yet provides subpar customer service. This experience was a complete waste of time.

We walked in, waited an hour after giving our telephone #. We were never approach by an employee. TERRIBLE SERVICE . After 9 YEARS of being a customer, I am switching to another provider.

This place is hit or miss. You can walk in there and have one of the best people trying to help you or you can have somebody outright lying to you trying to sell you something you absolutely don’t need. I have a business account with six phones and four iPads, I was trying to upgrade one of the phones and the guy told me that he was just gonna give me a new line and then I can cancel it three days later. The second I started giving him a hard time he kind of threw his hands up in the air and you can tell he generally did not want to help me, then go back on another situation and have The coolest guy to help me. My primary phone on my account was cracked and dropping calls and freezing and having to miss issues and he tried to talk to me about using my insurance, but I ended up just buying a new phone because it was a very time sensitive situation. Figure out who that person is And change or asked for someone else if they’re trying to be issue.

Went to return an Internet box that I never received the return kit for. Because I got it from third party Verizon they would not take the box back. I simply asked for them to assist with getting another kit sent to my house in which they told me to call 611 from my phone. Terrible service from a “corporate Verizon” store.
