For the sake of the pharmacist Emmanuel PLEASE get all new pharmacy techs. It must be hard having to answer every little thing, investigate and resolve every issue by himself. This is a two day ordeal. Yesterday I came to the pharmacy after my doctor sent over a prescription and after waiting for 1 hour and 23 minutes in a line of 4 people . I was given some reason why I could not get my prescription in the end I was only able to retrieve some of my prescriptions. I asked the pharmacy tech if they had the last prescription available. She stated that I would have to come in person and follow up on the prescription the following day because they have Tuesday as their fulfillment date. I asked her if I’m signed up for Walgreens text calls and alerts. Is it possible that they can alert me on the prescription is ready and said no . It’s now 24 hours later. I’ve returned to the pharmacy to follow up and I provide my name and birthday to pick up my script or to inquire on it being ready. Today’s pharmacy tech starts asking me the dosages of the medicine etc which I did not know so I urged her to simply look at my profile . She then states that I can’t fill the prescription for another month because it says that I filled the prescription yesterday and I had to clarify with her. Thankfully, the same two staff members that were working yesterday were also working today so I told her to ask the pharmacist she then went on to say that she’ll have to run the cameras back to look as opposed to asking her superior . Insisting that I picked up the prescription last night. I clarified with her like hey I was told you guys only fulfill this certain prescription on Tuesdays please ask the Pharmacist . When she asked him, He stated that he personally ordered the prescription yesterday and it’s not even ready yet so apart from being accused as drug seeking and wasting over an hour of my life yesterday and just the overall incompetence, he’s grossly underpaid for the job that he’s doing, and Walgreens should do better than that. Anyway I will have to follow up on a full week for my new prescription.

I've been coming here for years and as an autistic adult the pharmacy staff could use some training. Everyone I come in I feel ostracized / judge / lack of basic customer service. I leave here trembling and questioning my whole experience. This one lady is so extremely rude and I get they are busy and have other things to do but she knows she's short fused and rude. It's almost like a power thing. And it's sad.
Autistic adults deserve empathy or at least some respect.

To the lady that worked at Walgreens on smith street yesterday 9/19 around 7:15-7:30 pm an African American lady with glasses and individual braids if you don’t like your job you need to quit expeditiously your attitude is disgusting. I politely asked you if you could open the case to get me a bottle of wine. You never acknowledged what I asked you instead you huffed and puffed and rolled your eyes at me as if I were bothering you. There was absolutely nobody in the store and you were doing absolutely NOTHING but fumbling with things on the shelf. You are in the field of customer service, if that’s not something you want to do then find you another job. To the lady that checked me out thank you for being sweet and assisting me with helping me find what I was looking for. Maybe you should share some of your customer service skills and expertise with your colleague.

We have used Walgreens for a while now. In general, the locations we’ve used have been good. This one is the exception. We are staying the week in Houston. I ran out of my emergency meds unexpectedly and figured I would call this location to see if they could fill it. I called on Monday morning and was told I could pick my meds up that afternoon. Great! … but then they were delayed. Tuesday, same thing. I called and was told I could pick up that afternoon. Delayed. Today? Same thing!! I asked whey they kept delaying it. I was told it was the delivery system doing it. So, I asked why I was supposed to trust it would be ready today or before we leave. Her answer? That’s what the system says. ?!?! … not helpful. No apology. No offer for further assistance. Nothing. Do not expect efficiency or decent customer service … super disappointed and these are emergency meds … I guess that doesn’t matter either ….

The pharmacist is snappy, has an attitude and is rude. Even at the most basic questions. It took forever to get our meds. He didn’t even know what he was doing and kept giving the wrong information until his supervisor intervened and helped us out. He isn’t the brightest either. Crappy attitude. Save yourself the trouble and time and not go there.

Yesterday I went here to purchase a alcohol drink for a customer from DoorDash. The cashier was extremely rude and attitude because I forgot my ID at home I showed the app I was doing delivery for a customer and still asking me for ID? Excuse me? I’m 24 years old and the cashier treated me as a teen high school.
Thank you for wasting my time and I lose money earning from DoorDash delivery, I hope they get same karma of losing customers because from cashier’s arrogant and attitude.
This location have to be a joke. I never had issue on other Wallgreens location but this location they have attitude.

The pharmacy staff does a great job considering the company they work for. Before you go off-the-hook and fire off a hateful review, put yourself in their shoes for a minute.
From my personal experiences, the pharmacy staff has gone out of their way to help when their system is wrong or has incorrect info.

Incredibly rude humans working in the pharmacy department. I’ll be so glad when AI takes over these positions. Female working in pharmacy has a rude tone, was unhelpful, seemed put out, very unprofessional. Why are all the Walgreens employees so unhappy? If they cannot do customer service, there’s other jobs surely they could do.

Any reason why this location is closed? How long does a pharmacy like this temporarily close? I have a prescription that’s ready but apparently I can’t get it. My doctor is on vacation for the next week and now I can’t pick up my schedule 2 prescription because they’re temporarily closed and it can’t be transferred. It was already filled. Called the 1800 number and they stated it was because of an emergency - does anyone have any intel on what happened and when this store will be back to normal business?
