“During and after Hurricane Buryl, I worked in dispatch as a 911 operator and took hundreds of calls for two days about fights at gas stations, calls about people cutting in line at gas stations, etc. On my first day off after the hurricane, I needed some gas. I came to H-E-B to get gas, and they had employees with smiling faces out directing traffic. It was so organized. No price gouging, no fighting, no cutting in line, no stress. In and out in seven minutes, gas at $ 2.97.
THIS is why there is no comparison to MY H-E-B!”

“Brookshire Brothers is a very good place to shop in Huntsville . In my opinion , they don't get the credit they deserve. I live in Austin , but when I visit Huntsville , I shop at this store . You have easy parking , and you can get in and out very easily. They have more than u think in this store .”

“I have used Walmart and CVS, as well as Walgreens however, I enjoyed my first experience with H. E. B. Pharmacy. The drive through was certainly much faster than a previous pharmacy I've mentioned. I did not see an actual person but the voice over the intercom was pleasant, patient and professional. Kudos to you H. E. B. Pharm workers!”

“My favorite Mexican food, period. And I've lived in Dallas, Huntsville, L.A., and San Francisco. The meats are tender and gush flavor, the gorditas have the perfect crisp, the toppings are all awesome (guac is just 50 cents), salsa verde and roja are very different and both good. I live just up the road from here and come by every chance I get. Service is fast so come in whenever you get the chance.”

“This EXXON Station was convenient to tank for our return trip home at the Corner of Hwy 30 & IH45. We did not use any other service other than to self fuel at the pumps. Station seems to be overpricing/charging customers for use of a credit card. Advertised price for regular unleaded gas 87 octane was $4.69 per gallon. $4.89 if you pay by credit card. EXXON's credit card automatically adjusts the pump price by $.10 per gallon which did not offset the station's increase.”
“Almost always have a good experience here. The afternoon /evening shift ( MELVIN ) is always extremely nice as well as helpful. The food cooked here is good, and although the line is sometimes long,at the peak hours, it is worth it as well.”

“A very pleasant place to shop all the things seem to be in order and when you first walked in all your clearance items are at the front of the store very good handicap sparking a very big selection of toys for kids and clothes even clothes for women and men plus they have groceries and all the bathroom items you may need the service was outstanding very polite awesome place to shop”

“So glad to have a Kroger Super Center in Huntsville. They have everything! Fresh squeezed orange juice, fresh bread, tortillas, and cake. The cheese selection makes everything worth it - and the wine guy is SUPER helpful.
Update: still has outstanding inventory and selections. Intuitive layout.”
“I don't normally go to Walmart, I usually do my shopping at HEB but I needed to get some kitchen items so I went to Walmart today. They weren't super busy, so that was nice. I was able to find most of the stuff on my shopping list fairly easily. The cashier was very friendly and we didn't have to stand in line for a terribly long time. I would say that the overall experience was good. I don't think I will switch to shopping at Walmart from HEB, but I still would give Walmart 5 stars.”

“It is now a required stop for us. The pulled pork is sloppy and delicious. The chop beef is pretty good and the sliced beef sandwich is really good. They don't put a lot of sauce on, and you don't need it. The sauce they do use is damn good though.
They have some interesting jarred items for sale and a good meat selection at reasonable prices. We bought some cherry butter and made it into a sauce for a pork loin and it was fantastic. They also have a nice little dessert table.
Negative: they are tighter with those napkins than a camel's ass in a sandstorm. Not so great for bbq-to-go.”
