“These ladies at this center( Liz, Rachel and Bayleigh) are completely remarkable. They are comforting, understanding and go above and beyond to help out. The way they work as a team, listen and solve made my experience there truly amazing. I can't say enough about these wonderful women. Thank you so much for all you do day in and day out. Blessings upon you'll.”

“I was at a crusual crossroad in my life, and was seeking spiritual guidance and direction before making a life changing decision.I was looking for a spirit led, nonjudgmental, non bias, listening ear. Brenda Ramsey was that person for me. We connected immediately, and she not only listened, but she heard me. It was like sharing with a friend. Brenda is a God send.DW”
“Great venue for theater. We saw Jekyll & Hyde, and it was great! The cast was amazing, the venue was comfortable, and during intermission, the staff was very cordial and friendly.”
“I went looking for organizations to help with increasing my VA rating and all did not want to help. I figured out they were looking for the low hanging fruit. United For the People took on the task and guided me through out the process. I am very grateful for their assistance at increasing my rating and adding other issues to my service although the VA did not rate.”

2108 N Austin Ave, Georgetown“I didn’t want to give less star than this because the place had really happy customer profile. I went there to donate not to buy and found out that their donation time is only Saturdays at certain times. I was upset because I drove from a far place just for that donation. they could have tell me over the phone about time frame when I called them to ask if they accept donations.”
“Faith in Action Georgetown is a true asset to the Georgetown community and our residents. Not only do they provide safe and reliable transportation for our seniors, but they link elders with many other support services. Also, a great place to volunteer as everyone is so pleasant to work with. I highly recommend them.”
“Awesome people.. Blessings.... I would love to cater a nice soul food meal.... Fried chicken, Mac and cheese, collard greens and sweet potatoes.... Homemade cornbread.... And my peach and pineapple cream cheese pie....”
“When circumstances in life got really difficult and my daughter and I were homeless we called Texas Baptist Children's Home our home. The staff there treated me better than I've been treated my whole life. I was seen and heard, understood and loved, all my needs were met. I was given the tools that I needed to take better care of myself and my daughter, I left there with confidence and better self esteem too. Thank you TBCH, for everything! ”
“Thank you, I never imagined that there could be so many attentive, pleasant and kind people as in this place, selflessly. Excellent attention in my case, even a proposal to facilitate the study of English they offered me when I was only going for help with food. Thank you a thousand times for the opportunity”
“Very family oriented, clean & organized. They offer a variation of activities/classes for children, teens, and adults. Staff is usually helpful. However, lots of traffic & class sizes may be larger.”
“Came here for a volunteer event. Everyone here is calmer, happier and peaceful. Their energy rubs on you. Love the place and their vision. This place has lots of energy. Few of my colleagues are even sponsoring horses here. It was nice to spend time here. A place where horses are treated like Rockstars ?”

2000 Railroad Ave Unit A, Georgetown“They have helped me - and probably an immense amount of others - with so much. Thank you, thank you, thank you. This place gives me hope. If you need assistance with food or really anything, they will help you and they will do so happily.”
“This place is amazing. Huge property with a gym, swimming and all sorts of classes for kids ranging from cooking and pottery to gaming, engineering and CAD. If you are in the area I would highly recommend checking it out. It's a very convenient location from 35 and from Mays.”

2108 N Austin Ave, Georgetown“I was in the market for a new dining set. I walked into the Georgetown Restore and there was a beautiful table and chairs for $80. It wasn't until after I bought it and got it home that I realized the set was by Ethan Allen. Such a deal. The store personnel were friendly and helpful and I will be checking back from time to time to see what else I find. It is a small store with limited stock but you never know...”
10AM - 7PM
2300 Scarbrough Drive Building 5, Austin“Bring a wagon or bags in case there are no shopping carts. (You often have to creep on someone leaving and get theirs)I try to remember to bring gloves and some hand sanitizer for afterwards. It’s a treasure hunt. Don’t expect the organized hunt of a regular Goodwill. Great deals for those willing to put in the work.”
“Check out girl was a bit curt & grumpy. Only had 2 dressing rooms open & it was pretty busy. Suggest they install a couple of full length mirrors around the dressing room area. Might help with the lines.”
“This place is still popping and gets busy in the evenings. We stopped by to check out membership, the pool, child care and programs they offered. I used to be a member of the YMCA and I liked that I could work out early in the morning (they open at 5am). It is convenient they have child care options later in the morning while you work out just not that early at 5am. There is a pool and they offer swimming lessons there. They have volleyball and basketball programs going. Definitely a family friendly place.”
