“Called because I had a sick grand baby. I asked the gentleman if they had a certain item and he stated he wasn’t sure but he would go check. They had the item and he also gave me additional information about what all they did have. Very thankful for doing his job and knowledge of what was expected of him. Prior to calling this store, I called the local grocery store and asked the same question to receive the answer “ I don’t think so” without even mentioning she would go and look to make sure! Very sad and disappointing the grocery store would allow someone to give such a vague answer.”
“Great deals and friendly folks make this an almost everyday stop. They have quick and delicious breakfast pizzas and the most awesome chicken tenders and wings in town!”
“Cool people. Loading went smooth. They had me clean my trailer which wasn't a problem. They supplied me with a dust pan and broom. Loading took a hour. Not bad..”

“Best hamburger in West Texas bar none. Rustic surroundings and out of the way location, but worth the drive for lunch. Believe that they are only open for lunch hours. So don't try a late night stop. Also conveniently sell package beer and ice at good price. Tell Wicker (owner) we sent you!”
“The store was a complete mess....not the usual dollar general I like to go to but had no choice to stop here. Don't think I'll be stopping anytime soon. The employees were rude and ghetto! Learn how to act and teach them a little customer service!”
“I like the variety of products at this location compared to others, because each location supplies differently, so its not to say others aren’t good - it’s just that I like what this one offers, except they Do offer a mini produce section - since it’s way outside of city limits, very convenient! Like a mini grocer. Great selection of seasonal & party supplies, plus unique household items. Sometimes employees overwhelmed with too much to do since store needs straightening up or stock to put out - somewhat disarray there - except for the grocery isles - which are pristine. They put out clearance items too. Try this store if close to it / ex: people from Slaton who want to find other merch - I recommend !”
“Brand new so it's still clean and all. Can't say much about the employees because I only saw one and they didn't speak. Even at checkout, nothing. Odd really. Overall the location is where it is but you can't really tell from the inside.”

“Great experience, very well-organized and straightforward.
I arrived and parked in the waiting area—a huge plus that ✅ overnight parking ✅ is allowed here. Check-in is self-service via a computer in the guard shack or on-line , and they let you register a maximum of 2 hours before your appointment.
After checking in, you go back to your truck and wait. They called me back in just 5 minutes and assigned a dock door. The unloading itself took about two hours, and I was on my way. Everything went smoothly.
One important tip: If you are hauling frozen foods (reefer), make sure to stop by the office to drop off your paperwork before backing into the dock door. Otherwise, if you park first, it’s about a 10-minute walk back to the office.

“They received me 2 hours before appointment time, everything went great and got unloaded just by my appointment time. They save me two hours so I could go home early. God bless them. Will come back.”
“Great place to deliver. Drive straight up to the gate as soon as u get there and chk in with the very nice security people. They will either assign u a door right then or have u go back out and park across the street near the overpass dirt lot(large lot-u can sleep their also)and call u when they have a door. Once called, drive back to the gate, hand ur bills back to security, they will give u a blue binder with ur bills in it, proceed to ur door, open up ur doors, place the binder(with ur broken seal in the binder)in the back of the trlr and back in. U never have to get out of ur truck?..they bring the bills to u. 2.5 hrs unload time for me. One of the best Mclane’s ever..??(they start calling u for ur door at 1500)”
