“I love this store. The recent remodel with. The coolers is great. The staff is so helpful everytime I go in. The manager works hard along side her staff to keep the store looking great!”
“Found what I needed fairly easy, staff was engaging & friendly. The only quirk that was a little unpleasant the clutter of unstocked merchandise just block the walk ways, it happens. I just feel it should be addressed early or later in the day when not so busy.”
“Affordable prices - however - be prepared to deal with a store manager that is rude. I was shopping there last night and thought I had an error on my bill (I didn’t). My cashier was very sweet - looked at my bill & called the mgr to issue a refund on something I thought had been hit twice. The manager comes up - speaks to her in Spanish - the cashier is responding in English (my language) & the manager continues to speak to her in Spanish. I don’t understand a lot - but she asked the cashier if I was lying or not telling the truth - the cashier responded (again in English) that my cart was right there as evidence. The mgr continued to speak in Spanish. Then turned to me and spoke perfect English. All I can say is HOW RUDE. She has NO BUSINESS being a manager if she is going to be that condescending to customers. I KNEW she knew English because the cashier was speaking to her in English yet she continued to speak Spanish - a language I don’t understand. Great job in customer service from the cashier. She treats the customer with integrity and respect. The manager needs to go back to school for training. The cashier is more deserving of a manager position.”
“I have been visiting all of the Dollar General's in my area to see what all the hype is about. I see folks on YouTube stacking coupons and saving money.I have visited this store a couple of times. The staff is friendly and the store is a bit chaotic. The home decor aisle has rugs on the ground so it's hard to push a cart through. Other aisles are blocked by carts. It's messy. I was able to find what I was looking for, however I did notice that not all of the toys are in the toy aisle. They're at the top of the shelves across the store.I ended up doing a return after not correctly reading a receipt and the staff was helpful about it.”

“Had everything I needed from coffee to ladies throw away razors, cat food and more. Also had good selection of many, many things. Walmart shelves were mostly empty in household cleaning products, paper towels, etc. but Family Dollar had plenty. Best of all, I didn't have to do a lot of walking which happens when I go to Walmart, then my legs hurt for hours, but I'm 76+ years.”
“This wonderful little place holds more than you would ever imagine looking from the outside. We always love to go browse just to see what they have. Sometimes they get different things in that they will have in stock. There are certain things that are really great prices that we go there for all the time.”

Reason I gave 4 stars and not 5 is because you need to pay careful attention to prices ... some things more then $1 and not marked so you don't know you have been charged more.”
“This is my preferred Family Dollar in the area. They have a good selection and good sells, especially if you use their app with digital coupons. The staff are for the most part friendly. Definitely not too friendly, but certainly not rude. Sometimes when they are stocking it is annoying when you can't get to things with all the stock carts everywhere. But, overall, I like this store better than other discount stores in the area.”

“I really like this store. They always have a great selection and the staff is always friendly. My only complaint is that they tend to have boxes unpacked for a while. I understand that finding laborers are tough...but for as much money as dollar tree makes, you'd think they'd have competitive wages so they keep people. That part is important. This store could be really great!!”
“Kina and Terri were SOOO kind! They helped me get exactly what I needed and were so warm and welcoming! Very good inventory and full of it for sure!! It was so clean and organized as well. Felt so nice and spacious and again, the customer service from these 2 ladies was TOP TIER!!!!!”

“Clean and organized!I just moved to Irving from Northwest Dallas and let me tell you, I am impressed how clean, stocked and organized this store is! This is the first store from the chain company to be neat. Great job to the employees keeping the great work their! Also, sign up on their app to save a couple bucks on everyday items. every time you enter your number on the keypad you get spins on the Family Dollar app to get special coupons on future purchases.”
“I had a wonderful experience coming to this Dollar General tonight. One of your employees (his name is Eric) was the most helpful, patient, friendly and professional employees that I've ever encountered at a Dollar General. From the minute I walked in I needed help finding certain items and Eric didn't hesitate to help me find what I was looking for. Some of the items he wasn't sure if y'all carried but he didn't stop helping me look until we found them. Ive been under the weather lately and kind of out of it and he really went the extra mile to help me. I got to the store with maybe 10-15 min to shop. I was looking for something to feed my family for dinner.snd Eric let me know politely that I had 5 minutes left to shop. He rang me up and could.trll I wasn't feeling well. He helpede out with my things Also I left my notepad in the store and he came back out to find me and give it to me.
I didn't ask how long he'd been working at Dollar General but this kid deserves a raise. He represented this Dollar general so well that any manager would've been proud of him. Integrity is something this guy has. I would love to see that Eric gets recognized for his work ethic and doing good when no one is watching.”
“Taking into consideration many factors with frequent visits—there’s always room for improvement, and let’s be honest real time feedback is likely far more effective.
I’m leaving a review now after months of a consistent yet slightly varying experiences. The staff are kind, at your own pace, folks. It’s no problem because I’m usually in no hurry. I’ve seen this staff handle some very interesting situations with consistency. Yes, consistency. Everyone is treated the same (from what I’ve observed).
Tina, Elsa, and EJ—those ladies are PHENOMENAL! They always have a joyful disposition and if they’re on the floor they’re very helpful.
Brenda, Brenda 2, Joy, and Rebekka—they’re kind of like old school moms/aunts who scold you before they hear the word, but are more compassionate the more you “prove” you are able to stand confidently and unoffended while interacting with them. Idk if that makes sense but it’s the best way I can explain it.
Do I believe there’s room for improvement? Heck yea, but I usually address my woes in person and don’t ever have the same problem twice. I rarely have a problem. If I’d give reason for 4 stars it’d simply be because the store “mothers” are (I’m sure for “good” reason) on guard with certain people. I just wouldn’t speak about that group out loud in front of other guests. Gives a certain perception that may otherwise be unwanted. — not my woe, so I believe it could be shared.”
