“Found what I needed fairly easy, staff was engaging & friendly. The only quirk that was a little unpleasant the clutter of unstocked merchandise just block the walk ways, it happens. I just feel it should be addressed early or later in the day when not so busy.”
“I've been coming here for about 18yrs now, since moving to Irving in 2008. It's changed a lot, but the customer service is still very amazing!!!! These ladies work their hardest to maintain the store in cleanliness, products being stocked on a daily basis and always putting customers first.”
“This wonderful little place holds more than you would ever imagine looking from the outside. We always love to go browse just to see what they have. Sometimes they get different things in that they will have in stock. There are certain things that are really great prices that we go there for all the time.”
“Had everything I needed from coffee to ladies throw away razors, cat food and more. Also had good selection of many, many things. Walmart shelves were mostly empty in household cleaning products, paper towels, etc. but Family Dollar had plenty. Best of all, I didn't have to do a lot of walking which happens when I go to Walmart, then my legs hurt for hours, but I'm 76+ years.”
“This was the best dollar trees I've visited in the locality. We were kinda worried about going there because of the reviews but it was very spacious and stocked. Didn't see the manager tho. Raquel was very helpful and kind and wasn't rude at all!”

“This is my preferred Family Dollar in the area. They have a good selection and good sells, especially if you use their app with digital coupons. The staff are for the most part friendly. Definitely not too friendly, but certainly not rude. Sometimes when they are stocking it is annoying when you can't get to things with all the stock carts everywhere. But, overall, I like this store better than other discount stores in the area.”

If you need toilet paper, dishwasher detergent, paper towels, and laundry detergent and you only have $6.-8.00 You have enough $$ at this store for all those items. I’m leaving a review now after months of a consistent yet slightly varying experiences. The staff are kind, at your own pace, folks. It’s no problem because I’m usually in no hurry. I’ve seen this staff handle some very interesting situations with consistency. Yes, consistency. Everyone is treated the same (from what I’ve observed).
Tina, Elsa, and EJ—those ladies are PHENOMENAL! They always have a joyful disposition and if they’re on the floor they’re very helpful.
Brenda, Brenda 2, Joy, and Rebekka—they’re kind of like old school moms/aunts who scold you before they hear the word, but are more compassionate the more you “prove” you are able to stand confidently and unoffended while interacting with them. Idk if that makes sense but it’s the best way I can explain it.
Do I believe there’s room for improvement? Heck yea, but I usually address my woes in person and don’t ever have the same problem twice. I rarely have a problem. If I’d give reason for 4 stars it’d simply be because the store “mothers” are (I’m sure for “good” reason) on guard with certain people. I just wouldn’t speak about that group out loud in front of other guests. Gives a certain perception that may otherwise be unwanted. — not my woe, so I believe it could be shared.”
“Clean and organized!I just moved to Irving from Northwest Dallas and let me tell you, I am impressed how clean, stocked and organized this store is! This is the first store from the chain company to be neat. Great job to the employees keeping the great work their! Also, sign up on their app to save a couple bucks on everyday items. every time you enter your number on the keypad you get spins on the Family Dollar app to get special coupons on future purchases.”
