“In a sea of mediocre restoration shops, Darrell, Tim and crew set themselves apart. I only wish I had found them earlier in my search.
If you're looking for restoration and custom work, this is the place. Cimtex Rods handled the full rebuild of my 1985 Chevy C10 after it was totaled in an accident (a stop sign runner hit me and did some major damage). This C10 is something I looked years for, and seeing it wrecked was a punch to the gut. They didn't just fix it; they brought it back better than it was before. The bodywork is great, the paint is a spot for spot recreation of the original AZ patina, and the attention to detail everywhere else, from the alignment to the custom components, is exactly what you hope for from a high-end shop. They were professional, kept me updated, and clearly treat every classic like it's their own. The build/rebuild hasn't been without its hiccups, but Darrell has always taken care of things the right way.”
