101 Heritage Dr, Johnson CityDr. Paul, Bailey, and the entire staff at Deer Creek are phenomenal! They saved our dog this week after an accident. They were about to close for the day when we called, but they stayed after hours to care for him. They were so kind, even though they were probably exhausted. They made sure our dog and we were comfortable the entire time, and I will never be able to thank them enough! If you are in the Hill Country (or not) and need a great vet, I recommend Dr. Paul and Dr. Kristin!

214 Edmonds Ave, Johnson CityHad a great first visit yesterday. We met Daniel the owner who was very friendly and helpful with our wine selections and a pleasure to talk with for a bit. First, we enjoyed a couple of flights and the Only Gouda Times appetizer, which was delicious. From all the wines we liked we chose a bottle of Tempranillo to go with our two huge sandwiches, the Mom's and the Italian (both recommended). The wines were great and all of the food was quality in taste and presentation. We've got our new favorite spot in Johnson City! Highly recommended!!

402 E Main St, Johnson CityWe visited Farmhouse tasting room for the first time. Cami, our host, was friendly and knowledgeable about the wines. Owners are farmers and wine makers - good combination. We also had a really good charcuterie board. This will be one of our regular stops when we’re in the Holl Country!

108 W Main St, Johnson CityChristophe has clearly been a chef for some time in some really hip places as the photos on his trailer show. Texas got lucky that Covid brought him out for opportunities. I’m a 1st timer, ordered the Burgonese and the Chicken Pesto Panini. Both were delicious but the Burger was probably in my top 5 ever. Stop by if you’re passing through to a winery in the Johnson City / Fredericksburg/ Hye / Blanco area. Worth going a bit out of your way!

8264 US-290, Johnson CityStumbled upon Silver Dollar Bistro/ Silver Dollar Winery while looking for gluten free food options near Fredricksberg and it was 11/10 the best choice we could have made! The food hit the spot, they had gluten free pizzas for those of us who needed gluten free food and they were quick and delicious. We ended up doing tastings as well and had a great time chatting with the owner Richard. The wine was great, the vibe was great and we will definitely be back!

Gucci the mini Dachshund was served a delicious “made to order” hamburger patty fresh from the grill! 104 US-281, Johnson CityI eat a lot of burgers all across Texas, always searching for the best one, and this puppy is dang good lemme tell you h'wat. Onion rings are superb and made in house. Wash it all down with a beer. Awwww yeah. Looks like it's a decent size property.
