The owner is incredibly responsive and helpful whenever I reach out, and the entire staff is so thorough and attentive to each of our dogs’ needs while they’re boarded.
We have three dogs, all with very different personalities, and they truly cater to each one as if they were their own. I honestly can’t say enough great things about A to Z Dog Ranch - we trust them completely and wouldn’t go anywhere else! ?❤️

4514 Bob Wire Road, SpicewoodWe came to Frontyard for the advertised movie night, and it never happened. No movie, no explanation, nothing. The kids’ Halloween event was also not as advertised — what was promoted was not what we got, and the kids left disappointed. If you’re going to advertise events for families, you need to actually deliver them.
The event manager did not handle any of this professionally. No communication, no apology, no solution when we raised the issue.
To be fair — the bar employees were great. Friendly, attentive, and professional. They were the good part of the visit and deserve recognition.
Management needs to fix how events are run here.

The atmosphere was peaceful and quiet, the views were amazing, and the customer service was excellent. The food and wine were both delicious. It was such a beautiful and relaxing experience, and we will definitely be back!

We came for the $20-per-person wine tasting, which was a fantastic value and included six generous samples (one white and five reds). To go with our tasting, we ordered a charcuterie board to share, and everything paired together wonderfully.
What made our visit extra special was having the entire place to ourselves—we honestly felt like total VIPs! It allowed us to truly take our time, slow down, and soak in the serene atmosphere of the estate. After enjoying our wine, we hung out outside to play cornhole right next to the soothing sounds of their water feature. Between the peaceful setting, great wine, and laid-back outdoor games, it was the ultimate unhurried Hill Country afternoon. We can't wait to come back!

4514 Bob Wire Road, SpicewoodWe went here last Saturday and thoroughly enjoyed it. It is a very beautiful setting and so relaxing out there in Spicewood. You have the wines...there is a brewery there as well, pickle ball courts and food trucks also. We only had the wines but they were very good and easy sipping wines, especially the Pinot Grigio and the Sauvignon Blanc...we liked them so much we bought a 3 bottle pack to go. CJ at the winery provided us great service and made us feel at home right away. Not only that, both he and Hannah helped locate a pair of sunglasses left behind and mailed them back to us in Houston! It was such a nice experience overall that we highly recommend it to anyone looking to relax and enjoy the pretty landscape while sipping on some excellent tasting wines. I will definitely be going back to see them again soon.

22308 State Hwy 71, SpicewoodAlyssa at Poodies is an absolute gem! She made the best Bloody Mary I’ve ever had, and her hilarious personality made the whole experience even better. She also gave me fantastic recommendations for local food spots and live music around Spicewood and the surrounding area. The bar has a super cool, laid-back dive bar vibe with tons of character. Great drinks, great music, and even better people! If you’re in the area, Poodies is a must-stop. Ask for Alyssa!
