The whole crew is great with my animals. Their prices are great and get me in with my work schedule. Love them so much❤

8264 US-290, Johnson CityWe stayed 2 nights in the Bluebonnet Cabin. It was decorated as so. We loved the Cabin. It was clean, very well built and the A/C works like a champ. The shower and faucets have very good pressure and the water gets very hot.
We arrived after dark, so we really were surprised at the surrounding landscape once the sun was up. We met a lot of the family that lives on property. We met most of the animals roaming the yard.
We had a late snack at the bistro in early afternoon where we were pleasantly surprised they had college football games on the TV. We love college football.
We shared the Italian Salad. We actually asked to leave off some items and they were very accommodating. The salad was huge, two of us shared it. It was so good that I did not put one drop of salad dressing on this masterpiece. The veggies were fresh and very sweet and delicious. We ordered the small pizza. We actually added our own toppings instead of getting one of their signature pies.
The Pizza was phenomenal! The mozzarella cheese was melted perfectly and the flavor just captured my attention before I could even imagine tasting the toppings. We chose Hot Cappacolla, Bell Peppers, and Onions. The “gabagoul” had a great taste with perfect range of spiciness…not too spicy. The sweetness of the Yellow Bell Peppers paired perfectly with the meat. The pizza was really good! I actually want to try the pizza because early that morning I met the owners Mother and she recommended it to me. It goes to show you, listen to your Mother and everyone else’s Mother too!
The staff was very helpful and knowledgeable in the Bistro. We cannot wait to come back to Silver Dollar Winery.

108 West Main Street, Johnson CityI ordered the Kay’s honey pecan latte and it was so good! Not overly sweet- they make it just right. Wifey got the strawberry matcha and she said it was good. Their pecan scone was also so good! I ate it all and barely shared.

Owners are farmers and wine makers - good combination. We also had a really good charcuterie board. This will be one of our regular stops when we’re in the Holl Country!

Margaret was a wonderful host and placed my wife and I next to the hummingbirds while we sampled excellent wine and beer over freshly-baked Italian bread and oil. There are a lot of winery options in the area, but if you want a personal touch with delicious offerings, this is the one to visit.

104 US-281, Johnson CityI’ve had the best burgers ever here, and highly recommend everyone to give this a try! Their burgers are warm, fresh and homemade. For burgers, I suggest trying out the Flaming Crispy Chicken Burger. I also highly recommend their fries and desserts, as they are amazing. As a returning customer, I find the atmosphere pleasant and the employees kind & welcoming. Will definitely come back.

Old 290 Brewery & Restaurant
4064 US-290, Johnson CityHad a great Friday afternoon at Old 290! Weather was nice enough that we sat outside for a late lunch. You must try the Brussels sprouts, so delicious! Dirk was a great help, providing samples of a few of their beers, and offering us suggestions for lunch. Danny, our server, was very attentive. Both made our experience there even more enjoyable. Already looking forward to our next visit!
