101 Heritage Dr, Johnson CityDr. Paul, Bailey, and the entire staff at Deer Creek are phenomenal! They saved our dog this week after an accident. They were about to close for the day when we called, but they stayed after hours to care for him. They were so kind, even though they were probably exhausted. They made sure our dog and we were comfortable the entire time, and I will never be able to thank them enough! If you are in the Hill Country (or not) and need a great vet, I recommend Dr. Paul and Dr. Kristin!

8264 US-290, Johnson CityAbsolutely loved Silver Dollar. Mark was hilarious and great company. Their dogs John Wick and Cow were very sweet and well behaved doggies :) Food and Cabernet Sauvignon was great as well, we will definitely be back! Highly recommend stopping by, or adding to your list of wineries to visit!

108 W Main St, Johnson CityMy daughter said she would give it a 10/10 if possible. It’s a nice clean and peaceful coffee shop. I am both a coffee and bagel snob and found both items to exceed my expectations. Had a latte with a pump of their pecan syrup and it was amazing. My daughters enjoyed the vanilla frappe and a chocolate chunk cookie. Will definitely return when passing through the area.

Christophe is a gem of a man and amazing chef. His burgers are made with top quality meat and don’t scoff at the price! They are more than worth it. Not our first time by any means but Christophe has outdone himself this time. The “Italianese” Italian/Japanese fusion burger concoction he’s come up this week was divine. Truly one of the best we’ve ever eaten.

Farmhouse Vineyards Marketplace & “Tipsy” Trailer
402 E Main St, Johnson CityWe visited Farmhouse tasting room for the first time. Cami, our host, was friendly and knowledgeable about the wines. Owners are farmers and wine makers - good combination. We also had a really good charcuterie board. This will be one of our regular stops when we’re in the Holl Country!

12 Twelve Fires Rd, Johnson CityMartin was an amazing host and the wines were very good. We went in with a summer wine passport. The location is really cool, and the parking can be slightly confusing. Most people were friendly and there were a few who we're quite rude by stealing my chair when I went to the bathroom. Also, while sitting on the commode, someone tried the door three times, even after I said it's occupied. Some people really need to learn how to act in society.

101 Durango, Johnson CityWe drove past the castle and had to stop by. Out of the three wineries we tried that day this one was truly our favorite. Nick was great, very knowledgeable and the nicest. We will most definitely make this our go to next time we’re in town.

7792 E US, US-290, Johnson CityThis is one of my favorite restaurants!!! My daughter loved it so much, we had her graduation party out there. Love it during crawfish season especially. They have great happy hour, wine, beer, margs. Atmosphere is the best!!! Saturdays can get super busy with local baseball leagues. Live music randomly by some talented locals. The boudin balls are a must!
