“Love this place go every time we come. Souvenirs to die for and everything you need for the beach. Clean restrooms and decent prices. Sunscreen is a little pricey here at around 16 dollars so grab that before you come.”

“HEB has lost their customer focus. They had NO shopping carts available yesterday. It was raining and the kid that was supposed to be bringing in the carts was hanging out inside out of the rain. I pointed this out to a ZERO named Robert. He informed me they had rain coats. Tell your employees...not me ! Robert is a total idiot. HEB...you can do bettet than that !”

“We are new to Brazoria and I was happy to know that if I needed something in a pinch that I wouldn't have to go all the way to Lake Jackson. The store is very clean, well organized and the cashier was friendly. We have Brookshire Brothers in my small home town and they can be pricey as well, so I'm used to the higher prices. I really like the small town feel of this grocery store. I would much rather support them than Walmart.”
“We stop by here on a regular basis. They have a great selection of EVERYTHING you need for pets, and home needs. Prices are competitive, the staff is so friendly. Definitely a great place for Brazoria residents.”
“This store is MUCH better than the store in Clute, Texas on Hwy 288B. That store just needs shut down, cleaning, restoration and stocking. I drive about 3 miles to Dollar general. The bad one is just a few blocks from where I live.”
“We have 2 Dollar stores in Freeport, luckily. The older store does have a long line at times i.e.after school lets out but the staff is on top of security for sure. Most of the staff is courteous, well informed in product layout and polite if not overly friendly. They're constantly stocking their shelves and the store has undergone a facelift. The older store seriously needs a larger building as I bet it probably has more customers only due to the location. Their prices have been raised but what stores haven't due to current economy. They're open on time M-S 8:00-10:00. There's plenty of parking. They offer a variety of name brand & store brand products from wine to batteries to craft supplies. My first choice for the items we need every other day or items missed while restocking the kitchen on a large scale.”

“great place to shop at. it's clean and organized with awesome employees. prices are reasonable, but they always have pretty good weekly sales. using your kroger card when you shop can rack up fuel points and help you save on gas.”
“Loving Kroger more and more as I see the excellent quality of the products. For example, their frozen fruit is ripe and the stevia I like with erythritol is the most reasonably priced I can find (even online). It doesn't raise our blood sugar like some stevia mixed with dextrose. Also, the bath and body Kroger equivalents are high quality.”
“The staff is polite . The store is well stocked, at least every time I've been in. Tons of candy, beer and wine to choose from along with fishing tackle. 4 gas pumps.”

“Dollar general is my
"Go To" for many items. They do not have everything I need but they have many of the items I use on a regular basis. I buy all of my food keepers here (then I go home and store all kinds of stuff in them). Can't beat the prices on those, or on big plastic tote containers. One of the things I really like is their little food/grocery section where you can grab fresh produce like bananas, tomatoes, packaged salad, quick microwavable individual meals, pizza, ice cream, deserts, drinks of all kinds, etc. Really handy when you need a few items and you're in a hurry. Some cashiers at some of the stores seem to be on a different time line because they are a bit slow when you need help, just kind of slow in general. I usually associate that with employee dissatisfaction. If their employees were more enthusiastic about their jobs, we would all benefit!
But regardless, I'm hooked!”

“I want to thank the employees working last night. I had to do a last minute grocery trip. I got there right before closing. I accidentally left a couple bags behind by mistake while tending to my toddler. I tried calling, but it was past their closing hours. I for sure thought I'd lost my purchases, but this morning when I called they had them waiting for us. Thank you so much for always keeping it stocked. This is our favorite store and now to add on you have amazing workers who were able to check the register and find the items. It means a lot to me and my family.”

“I have been using HEB Pharmacy, (located in Lake Jackson Texas) for years. I've had a couple of issues over the years, but they were always resolved. The pharmacist they have now is incredibly fast, friendly, and accurate. I've never had a shortage on my medications since he started there. He's all about customer service !! If the lines get long, and both registers are open and occupied, he stops filling scripts, runs over to an empty window used for counseling, and starts checking out customers. My ONLY COMPLAINT about HEB, is not having access when I'm on vacation out of Texas. Other than that, this HEB Pharmacy is awesome.”
“Been shopping there for many many years. I have absolutely no complaints. Only thing I ask is that they bring back the frog legs. Lol it was the only place around here that I could find them. But other than that the fruit is always fresh meat is fresh and has cheaper prices than anywhere around. Veggies are always fresh. Staff is very very polite.”

“Nice and organized store with sweet employees. As for the clientele...(the demographic) there is some lackluster people. Men and women here's a PSA on behalf of some zoomer mom's that just so happen to share the same melanated skin tone as you: leave my baby and my toddler alone. I do not appreciate the freaks who gawk and stare at my children, the ones who feel especially entitled and actually try to coo at my youngest need a wake up call because I am not your friend and you are in fact a stranger to me and my family! Stay clear of a small family(who is simpling trying to shop in peace) whom you do not know personally or beware of perhaps getting t@zed. (Joking,for legal purposes.)”

“I previously only gave my local Dollar General 3 stars but after visiting there yesterday, I am revising that to 5 star. The store looked great, and I was really impressed. No stock blocking the aisles. Well stocked. I commented to two employees, who were both friendly. Glad to see it!”
