“I have no clue on what is going on with there egg's. The ones on top are broken and the bottom one's are fine. How can you make money from the eggs when half your inventory is broken? The rest of the store is fine and not tripled in price like Kroger.”

“So there is so much food and they have Thelmas Cookies!!! On the cheap, like crazy cheap. Fun fact, Thelmas originated in Iowa, my partner (also from Iowa) used to smuggle me Thelmas in a cooler with frozen sponges to keep them cool and not cause TSA to have a whole meltdown, but now apparently they are also sold in HEB for wayyyyy less than they sell them in Iowa and I would highly recommend. Especially the snickerdoodle. You should definitely try them.”
“In weekly on Friday for the fried fish lunch and to pick up anything else we may decide we want or need from the grocery store. The one family owned grocery store in our area. The service is always wonderful.”

“Manager was very helpful. I had to use the FedEx drop off there & my label wouldn't work & they couldn't take it. Certainly not their fault, and the manager was super nice.”
“Yup. Dollar general is doing that scam on this one where it catches people off guard and charges more than what the price is on the shelf.
But if you catch it on time the cashier will correct it for you. He did good for me so I only took one star off”

"Go To" for many items. They do not have everything I need but they have many of the items I use on a regular basis. I buy all of my food keepers here (then I go home and store all kinds of stuff in them). Can't beat the prices on those, or on big plastic tote containers. One of the things I really like is their little food/grocery section where you can grab fresh produce like bananas, tomatoes, packaged salad, quick microwavable individual meals, pizza, ice cream, deserts, drinks of all kinds, etc. Really handy when you need a few items and you're in a hurry. Some cashiers at some of the stores seem to be on a different time line because they are a bit slow when you need help, just kind of slow in general. I usually associate that with employee dissatisfaction. If their employees were more enthusiastic about their jobs, we would all benefit!
But regardless, I'm hooked!”
“The staff is polite . The store is well stocked, at least every time I've been in. Tons of candy, beer and wine to choose from along with fishing tackle. 4 gas pumps.”
“Its not cheap, but its handy for this small town. They also have a lot of unique items you won't find anywhere else, like canned jars of preserves and seasonings. They also have good produce. Not a huge variety, but a little bit of everything”
“I want to thank the employees working last night. I had to do a last minute grocery trip. I got there right before closing. I accidentally left a couple bags behind by mistake while tending to my toddler. I tried calling, but it was past their closing hours. I for sure thought I'd lost my purchases, but this morning when I called they had them waiting for us. Thank you so much for always keeping it stocked. This is our favorite store and now to add on you have amazing workers who were able to check the register and find the items. It means a lot to me and my family.”

“I have been using HEB Pharmacy, (located in Lake Jackson Texas) for years. I've had a couple of issues over the years, but they were always resolved. The pharmacist they have now is incredibly fast, friendly, and accurate. I've never had a shortage on my medications since he started there. He's all about customer service !! If the lines get long, and both registers are open and occupied, he stops filling scripts, runs over to an empty window used for counseling, and starts checking out customers. My ONLY COMPLAINT about HEB, is not having access when I'm on vacation out of Texas. Other than that, this HEB Pharmacy is awesome.”
“Don't normally leave reviews, but this store is clean. best dollar general ive been to. Employees were nice and helped me. There were rude customers while I was there, but the worker had a good attitude still. Wish there was a dollar general like this in Houston. They're always a mess.
Will definitely be stopping here everytime I visit friends.”

“Loving Kroger more and more as I see the excellent quality of the products. For example, their frozen fruit is ripe and the stevia I like with erythritol is the most reasonably priced I can find (even online). It doesn't raise our blood sugar like some stevia mixed with dextrose. Also, the bath and body Kroger equivalents are high quality.”
“Love the store in Brazoria, Tx! Actually I'm a huge fan of Dollar General, in general! I love the checking out the candles, browsing the pictures, and I sincerely appreciate the craft section! My Grandgirls and I love to paint and they have a great variety of art supplies for young and old(er). ? Age is a state of mind, just sayin'!☺️ Oh, and I almost forgot, the employees at my DG are great, and they've always been nice at the other stores too!”

“I am 83 and I really need a dependable shopping scooter. I have recently moved to a new location and have not had any problems but at other locations I have had trouble finding a scooter or the scooter quits and I have to walk the length of the store to get a cart.”

Low employee turn-over (so nice to have professional and caring staff looking out for you, especially when you are feeling ill)! “I previously only gave my local Dollar General 3 stars but after visiting there yesterday, I am revising that to 5 star. The store looked great, and I was really impressed. No stock blocking the aisles. Well stocked. I commented to two employees, who were both friendly. Glad to see it!”
