“Attended an event recently featuring YouTubers The Game Chasers. Jay, Billy and Chief were all there and it was a fun little excursion for us to have the opportunity to meet these guys we’ve been watching for some time. I picked up a Nintendo Power featuring Milon’s Secret Castle, a fun little treat for my 80s collection. There were several vendors selling a variety of classic games for all platforms, some retro toys and other fun collectibles like the retro Bat Cave, classic consoles and Transformers. It was free and the weather was perfect to stand around and have some fun conversation. Had a great time! Hope to catch everyone at Retropalooza.”

“The service was great The selection was not too bad not a lot of model kits, but they had some very good ones The value I would say, is reasonable for being in a store”

“I could live at Hobby Lobby if I were given the chance! This location is usually pretty well stocked and they are quick with their seasonal selection. They also have nice discounts in between seasons. Lots of decor and activities for kids!”

“Houston Slot Machines & Sales were fantastic from beginning to end. I called to inquire and was asked about the type of slot machine I was looking for and they accommodated me quickly. I scheduled an appointment to go by on a Saturday and selected the machine I wanted. They even held it for me until I was ready to pick it up. I have had minor issues that was quickly fixed by just a phone call. My family and friends enjoy playing for fun and entertainment. It has really been a big hit whenever we have company. I highly recommend purchasing your slot machine from Houston Slot Machine & Sales. Courtney is a sweetheart.”

“Went in for the first time and really enjoyed it! The staff were super nice and helpful, I brought in a ton of cards (to hopefully sell) so the staff kindly walked me through the process. They showed me around the shop and even taught me a lil about Magic The Gathering. Overall I think this Is a one of a kind store and although the pack prices are a little above online prices (which is justified) you can’t get that customer service and amazing atmosphere online.”

“I came here while it was 30 degrees outside and my order was lost but they found it and I was very thankful, the worker that assisted me was very approachable and helpful.”

“Easily five stars. A mature, clean, well maintained and welcoming store, run by adults. Really well stocked considering the limited premises. Good competent and to the point advice, such a welcome relief from other locations where the salesman pitch (trying to push product) was often more pronounced. Will definitely come back. I wasn't inclined to leave a review at all but read the 1-star reviews and wanted to counterweigh what I felt were not entirely fair observations. Yes, you won't get swarmed by sales assistants on entry - that's a plus. Yes, they're not always open - fair enough, but easily handled if you're an adult. Concretely, it certainly helps to call the store ahead of time to check they're open (I did) and maybe even ask if they're continuously open that day (they sometimes are not); if picking up the phone for 1 minute is too onerous, I would also recommend checking the store's dedicated Facebook page for live events and promotions, as well as scrupulous advance notices of closure times. Is this the best WH store ever? Perhaps not in every respect. But leaving a one star review for the foregoing reasons doesn't do the location justice either.”

“I grabbed orange and black acrylic paint tubes for my My 1st DIY project. I am painting a pumpkin face on a recycled glass pot lid, Acrylic vs oil base paint? Mmmm? The paint department at this store is laid out with a beginner Uncrafty craft shopper in mind. Shoppers can walk down aisles and find every paint product, every color shade. and beautiful brushes. I didn't ask employees for recommendations. they were busy. I will be visiting the store to hey get paint for my pot lid snowman! Can you hang signage with what materials are suited for acrylic and oil based paint? That would be helpful”
