“Excellent vet for my African Grey after he had a seizure! Very informative and helpful. Spent the time to give me great advice on his diet and nutritional needs. My Mom was his former owner and she passed over 2 months ago. We thought it could be due to grief, after examination we have come to find out he has serious medical issues. He is seriously underweight and they have continued through the holiday weekend to keep in touch on his condition. 10/10”

“Feline Medical Center has been taking care of all 4 of my cats since I moved to Texas 5 years ago. They mainly see Dr. Sims but have seen Dr. Moran and Dr. Smith before as well during urgent situations. All the doctors are wonderful with my cats and they really do care about keeping them stress free and comfortable. I have a very medically complex cat who sees Dr. Sims routinely and she is always up to date on his latest issues and listens to all my wild research theories. I recently lost one of my 4 to cancer and they sent me the most beautiful cat friendly flowers the very next day. 10/10 would recommend taking your cats here.”

The doctor was very good, we received everything: the prompt attention, tests were done fast and medication was given to us before we left. We like coming here.”
“I first brought my dog here last year, and Dr. Curry took care of her. She was incredibly patient and even sat on the floor to comfort my anxious dog, which meant so much to me.
Fast forward to January 20th, I called and spoke with Becky because my dog was suddenly acting unwell and refusing to walk, and I was out of the country at the time. Becky was beyond helpful and truly empathetic. After consulting, she arranged an appointment right away so my boyfriend could bring my dog into the clinic.
The appointment went well, and my dog was prescribed medication that already made a noticeable difference on the very first day.
I highly recommend this clinic if you want your fur babies to be truly cared for. Even though I’ve moved a bit farther away (about 35 minutes), I will definitely be returning for future follow-up appointments.”

Dr. Sommerfeldt is, without a doubt, the BEST vet I have ever met. He is so genuine, gentle, kind, and incredibly knowledgeable. He always takes the time to explain everything to us, answers all of our questions, and genuinely listens to our concerns. You can tell that he truly cares about his patients and the people who love them. I met my dog the day after she was born in 2015 and visited her often until the day she was old enough to leave her litter. She has been mine since I was 17, so she means more to me than I could ever put into words. You would honestly think the entire team at MBAH has known her just as long. They know her, love her, and treat her with the same care and affection we do.
I never leave reviews, but I don’t think I’ll ever stop talking about how much we love this place. We are so incredibly grateful for Dr. Sommerfeldt and the entire MBAH team. We truly couldn’t ask for a better place to care for our girl. 🥹”

“Took 2 dogs and a cat to TLC over the past 10+ years, and I shadowed there in high school, and I have absolutely loved them. Dr. Richardson took care of my family dog when he was old and then when he was passing, and the team was so amazing. I shadowed them and some other clinics in the area when I was in high school and I always felt the staff at TLC was the most caring and accommodating of them all. Even when I wasn't living in the area, I brought my dog with me when visiting family so they could get their check ups at TLC. My dog has had lots of skin issues and a couple bouts of pancreatitis, once going into a holiday weekend, and Dr Kueker and the team were so helpful with getting him set up to be seen at Gulf Coast for continued care. When I moved to downtown Houston, I still drove my dog and cat here for check ups. I moved out of the state last month and am accepting that I finally have to find another vet and I am very sad about it. Harry, Oliver and I will miss TLC very much!”
“Unfortunately we had to say goodbye to one of our dogs. She had gone a week before 8/14/2026, and the staff was wonderful. A week later we had to make a decision and the doctor and staff were there for us during the difficult time. We felt the doctor listened to us and gave her professional opinion. “The care our animals have received at TLC Animal Hospital and board has been above and beyond. We have a deer chiuaua named Goose who is 7 years of age, and we have a puppy that weighs in at 30lbs named rerun. They've known him since they could carry him around with one hand. And they helped us when it was time to say goodbye to our loving cat Abigail. She was with us for 27 years. It felt as if one of our own children had passed. And they were with us every step of the way. Checking in on us. Sending us cards. Even on the anniversary of her passing. When ever Rerun or Goose have to go in for anything, they act as if it were a trip to a friend's house. Who wouldn't want that for their pets. Especially when we have to leave them behind. Whether for a trip or just the day. Our Animals are always looking happy when we drop them off or pick them up. That does my heart good.”

“Dr. Penner is the third vet we have seen for our dog’s man parts. As his fur parents we knew there was a problem but had previously been told there was not an issue by two other Banfield locations. I’m glad that we persistently asked each vet because he did have an infection in the end. Instead of pushing off my concerns, as previous vets had done, Dr. Penner asked more in-depth questions and recommended tests that the other vets didn’t even give us the option to run. After a few days on antibiotics we can already see a massive difference in our boy. We didn’t even realize how lethargic he had gotten compared to where he normally was. We still have meds to finish and to go back to make sure the infection is gone but his road to recovery is looking great.”
“Such convenience! Able to get in even the next day. They remind you of all your vaccines and u can get your flea/heartworm medicine at a good price added to your plan. I have my 2 dogs and cat on their annual plan without breaking the bank. They REALLY care so much for your animals. Everyone there very friendly. The vets and vet techs are very passionate and knowledgeable about animals. Im a caregiver myself, it's not just a job, it's a calling.”
