“This place is perfect for content creators on every level. Tons of options and spaces with an incredible collection of gear including props and lighting. Podcast, photo shoots, commercial filming, and more can all happen here. They worked with us at every stage of production for our commercial shoot and photo shoot. They said yes to every request, including amazing lighting packages and allowing us to use any space we needed. There was no nickel-and-dime. Every detail is considered from green room to wrap. Take a tour and you will see. The owners are there and responsive. Thank you for an amazing experience.”

“Having our wedding at Willow Woods was the most amazing experience. From initially reaching out for quotes and tours to the big day, the Willow Woods team made everything easy and seamless. Jessica was always on top of things and I could reach out any time and she would be right there to help. Her coordinating services were on point too! Her timeline template and creation process was so detailed and I don’t think our day would have went as smoothly as it did without her.
The venue and property itself is stunning! We got so many compliments and even if there was no decor you would still have so many picture perfect backgrounds, it also helps knowing they have a full inventory of decor so you don’t have to start from scratch.

“We were married at River Ranch Stockyards on January 24, 2026—right in the middle of an ice storm—and it was still an incredible experience.

Our venue coordinator, Leslie, was outstanding from start to finish. She was responsive, organized, and anticipated our needs long before the wedding week. When the ice storm became a real concern, Leslie and the River Ranch team were clearly prepared and put us completely at ease. Then, just an hour and a half before the ceremony, our outside wedding coordinator unexpectedly bailed. Leslie immediately stepped in without hesitation and kept everything running smoothly.

Despite the weather reducing our guest count, the staff was phenomenal. The servers and bar staff were attentive, friendly, and professional, and they truly turned what could have been a disaster into the wedding we wanted.

The food was excellent—especially the chicken fried steak, mashed potatoes, mac and cheese, and appetizers. The staff even made sure we ate and sent us home with care packages afterward.

We can’t recommend River Ranch Stockyards highly enough and would absolutely use them again for future events.”

“Very nice event center. Ample space, excellent parking area. We just had a meeting with an attendance of about 195 people and everything went perfect. And also, thank you so much for all the attentions from the administrative team. “Only downside is the parking. You could very easily find yourself parking several blocks away and taking quite a walk to get to the venue. It's a difficult time for vendors and/or DJs because you will likely end up blocking a lane to unload your gear so pack light. The employees and atmosphere is great though. DJs the area is similar to a gym so sound will be running all over the place with possible echoes if you only have speakers in one spot. Plenty of plugs around the area though if you plan to use uplights or speakers in other areas of the room. If not for the parking situation I'd have definitely given 5 stars.”

“The Oaks Event Center is a beautiful place to host your wedding! I had mine there on 2/28/26, and it was absolutely amazing. Rebecca and her team did an incredible job. I shared my vision with her, and she brought it to life perfectly.

The facility is clean, modern, and well-maintained, and the food is amazing. Since it’s an all-inclusive venue, they truly handle everything for you, which made the entire process so much easier and stress-free.
Rebecca is very diligent about scheduling appointments and staying on top of every detail. Anytime my husband or I reached out, she or her husband responded right away. She’s also very transparent with pricing. Everything is explained clearly, so there are no hidden fees.

She walked me through all the décor options, and they have a really cute inventory to choose from. My colors were pink and gold, and she executed them perfectly, as you can see in the photos. We were also able to do a food tasting, and she provided great vendor recommendations for anything additional we needed. She even created a custom floor logo for us, which was such a special touch!

The bridal suite and groom’s suite are both spacious, clean, and perfect for getting ready with your wedding party.

I would 100% recommend this venue to anyone looking to host a wedding, party, or any special event!”

“It's a bowling alley. They have a full bar, pizza and other snacks, a arcade area, and pool tables. They offer birthday parties and have bowling leagues. I don't often find myself in Arlington (I'm in Fort Worth) looking for something to do, so I'm not sure I'll be back. Overall, it's a decent place.”

Lauren Pugh is hands down the reason we keep coming back. She’s the kind of person who makes you feel like you belong there the second you walk in. Welcoming, genuine, and just flat-out great at what she does.

Don’t get me wrong, the Cabana Club is a great spot. But without Lauren, it wouldn’t hit the same. She’s the difference-maker.

At this point, if Lauren ever leaves… we may need to reevaluate our loyalty!
