“You gotta follow them on social to stay informed. Prices are unbeatable on a lot of goods. There are items here and there that aren't much better than HEB but you're still getting a deal. Some items require you to buy large quantities. They refund if something goes past expiration, some items are close. It can be hard to find items like beef or cold cuts because they tend to go quickly. Stock changes throughout the week. Weekends are crowded. Parking can be a hassle on Saturdays.
Bottom line: this place is full of great deals but it ain't CostCo. You should bring your own bags and be prepared to put in some effort to find things. The staff are super nice but there are limits to how much they can do in a place with ever-changing inventory, especially when it's crowded and there are long lines to check out. I'm told weekdays are better, less crowded.”

“I don't live on this side of town... but I walked into this Dollar Tree store on FM 78. I was blown away. It is by far.... the cleanest and most organized Dollar Tree/Dollar General type of store I have been inside of. Extremely friendly staff... and the store... my goodness so clean and organized... I can't say that enough. My hat's off to the management and staff.”

“Incredible, everything is very cheap and we are fascinated by the store.
We found it a little disorganized but with many things to buy to take to Mexico and give to friends.
My niece María bought Harry Potter things, if you are a Harry Potter fan you will find a lot to buy here.
My sister bought tons of craft supplies and some candy.
And my youngest niece bought toys and a full-size tennis ball.
It is a place that is good to buy trinkets at a low cost ?”
“Ollie's has great bargains. You can get email coupons too if you subscribe at check out. I got a number of Christmas presents from here and household items. The canopy that they sold was top tier. I compared
theirs to home depot and the results were the same.

“So I spend a fair amount of time in dollar stores because while sometimes the bargains are not actually the deal you bargained for, I just like the overall feel of most of them. Dollar General isn’t favorite. Every time I see one I haven’t been in before, I have to go in. Anyway, I’ve been to this one many times before and while I’ve always had pretty good experiences with the employees in all of them, today one of the employees was kind to me in a way I really needed and you don’t see much of anymore. I’m really struggling financially right now, every day is a fight to have shelter, food…well I was short on my bill and instead of voiding everything out or looking down on me, she just covered the difference out of her pocket.To her and to whoever might read this…you might think little stuff like that doesn’t matter much but I can tell you, when you’re trying to do the right stuff but it seems like everything is still going wrong, when you’re hungry and you feel ashamed because you can’t seem to get it together like other people have, and when you really just need somebody to just be a little nice to you…and somebody blesses you like that…yeah, it matters. You never know…one small gesture might be what keeps somebody hanging onto hope, however threadbare it feels to them.So thank you for being nice to me today, Kind cashier from DG, please know it made all the difference cuz I really needed it.Also this store is always very clean, pretty well stocked and checkout is not too slow, relative to the lines in most dollar stores. Go here.”
“The store was pretty busy their frozen section was bare items were different prices down different isles but the staff were friendly the only thing I really didn't appreciate was carrying the bags after I spent 56.oo in heaven cleaning fluids and household items the carts couldn't leave the building. If I knew that I would of cut the shopping to a minimum.”
“If you need/want a Riverwalk souvenir, this is the place. Huge store with every tourist souvenir item imaginable, from Riverwalk specific to knick-knacks to novelty items. All at a reasonable price.”

She helped make my trip quick and easy. They keep this store pretty well stocked making it easy to stop in here and pick up what I need. Keep up the good work.”
“They are very friendly, and will give you better deals on their merchandise if their cost allows it. They will have you in and out if you are on a time limit, and they will also take the time to explain anything that requires a tutorial. The only smoke shop I go to.”

“Interesting “dollar store” they have cheap items and plastic containers some Mexican “curandero” candles or cleansing items. It’s small but packed also they make keys…by hand with a person! Not an automatic machine that never makes a duplicate right.”

“One of the cleanest DG’s I’ve ever seen. Usually you go into a DG with fear that the stock may cave in on you and you’ll be trapped forever. This one is kept clean as possible. The staff is nice as possible. The customers might stab you. But I’m pretty sure the staff would at least call 911 to get you help before posting it on Facebook Live. Still have to say one of the best Dollar Generals on the South Side of San Antonio.”
