“I just left the Dollar Tree on Guilbeau at 2:41 PM on May 17th. I didn’t catch the cashier’s name, but I wanted to say she was doing an amazing job. She was the only one at the register, dealing with a lot of customers, and even though some were being rude, she kept her cool and stayed professional the whole time.
Whatever appreciation you offer employees, whether it’s recognition, a gift card, or something else, she definitely deserves it.”
“Ollie's has great bargains. You can get email coupons too if you subscribe at check out. I got a number of Christmas presents from here and household items. The canopy that they sold was top tier. I compared
theirs to home depot and the results were the same.

My kids absolutely love coming here, and I always end up finding something unique or fun to take home. It never fails—I always leave with something I didn’t plan on buying!”

Even though the checkout was fast and efficient, Zarane never made us feel rushed, instead, she provided genuine, warm customer service that I haven't felt in a retail location in a long time.”

“7/25/23- I would like to update my review. The store manager Tangela, personally reached out to me and sincerely apologized on behalf of the employee. She made me feel acknowledged and heard, which I appreciated very much. I did go back to the store with my children and Tangela made sure we had a pleasant shopping experience. She made it clear that this will not happen again to me or anyone else. I can see how much she truly values her position and this company. Thank you, Tangela.7/20/23 1star-This employee shouted at me and my 6 year old daughter when we walked into the store at 9:50 “FIVE MINUTES!!” When it in fact was not 5 mins till closing. She then proceeded to shout from across the store “WE NEED TO CLOSE!!!” After about 3 mins of us looking for what we needed. Then she followed us and continued to shout they were closed at 9:57 and that I need to hurry up. I started to record because she was scaring my daughter and making her extremely nervous and to also show how she was acting towards a customer that just needed to pop in for a quick snack and baby diapers. On my video you can hear her phone alarm go off at 10pm when I was already checking out at the register. I’d like to warn others about how this store treats their customers and how their core values mean absolutely nothing to them. This rude, and disrespectful woman should be ashamed of herself. What’s even worse is that this isn’t the first time this same woman has acted with disgust with her job. She always has an attitude anytime I’ve visited this establishment. Shame on this store for continuing to allow her to work here.”

“You gotta follow them on social to stay informed. Prices are unbeatable on a lot of goods. There are items here and there that aren't much better than HEB but you're still getting a deal. Some items require you to buy large quantities. They refund if something goes past expiration, some items are close. It can be hard to find items like beef or cold cuts because they tend to go quickly. Stock changes throughout the week. Weekends are crowded. Parking can be a hassle on Saturdays.
Bottom line: this place is full of great deals but it ain't CostCo. You should bring your own bags and be prepared to put in some effort to find things. The staff are super nice but there are limits to how much they can do in a place with ever-changing inventory, especially when it's crowded and there are long lines to check out. I'm told weekdays are better, less crowded.”
