What truly made them stand out to us was the kindness, flexibility, and support they showed when we ran into some concerns during our catering planning process. Amanda and Jenna immediately listened to us and were incredibly accommodating and flexible as we worked through our options. We ended up making a change that was the perfect fit for us, and we are so grateful for how understanding and supportive they were throughout the process.

They were both consistently sweet, responsive, and genuinely supportive throughout the entire experience. We were especially touched during our decor drop-off when Jenna greeted us with such excitement and kindness and even helped unload items from our van, which we never expected but deeply appreciated.

From start to finish, we felt truly cared for. We are so thankful for the kindness and attention they gave us, and we would absolutely recommend Hawthorn Hills Ranch to any couple looking for a beautiful venue with an amazing team behind it.”

We knew as soon as we stepped foot at Barnett for our tour, it was the perfect venue for us. You can feel the passion and energy radiate through the property. Everyone was so thrilled to be there, and really strived to make it the perfect day for us.

The entire process from securing our date, the fine details and coordinating, and the execution of our dream day was nothing short of perfect. It felt like a true fairytale. The day went so smooth and we were relaxed all day, including our family and friends! They were truly impressed with the wedding venue and their amazing team. The Barnett team was not selling us their business, but rather made it feel like they were making our dream day come true. They were always willing to do whatever it took to make sure our desires were met... and exceeded! Thank you a million for the most perfect day!

Some highlights of our day was the overall cleanliness of the venue including the landscaping, the helping hands from set up and the bartender and serving staff (they were all SO sweet!), the decor package (so worth it!), the food was delicious, their in house DJ (DJ Astronaut was stellar), and the firework show at the end! I recommend using their preferred vendors as it makes everything so easy and pair so well together!

You are so poised and professional, but also felt like we have known you forever. We truly felt comfortable around you and knew that you had our best interest in mind. “My wedding was absolutely beautiful, and overall, we had such a special and unforgettable day! 🤍

I want to start by giving a special thank you to Melissa, who was wonderful from our very first meeting. She was always incredibly attentive to every detail, helpful, and truly did her best to make sure everything turned out the way we had envisioned from the beginning. Having someone so caring and attentive helping us throughout the process made a huge difference in our experience.

The photography team recommended by the venue was also very kind to me throughout the wedding. However, unfortunately, I noticed some tension between the photography team and the videography team we hired separately. At times, including when they were working on shots together, there seemed to be an uncomfortable atmosphere between the two teams. As a bride, I would have loved to see all of the professionals working together more harmoniously so that we could simply enjoy our special day.

I also had an experience with the DJ, Matthew Hucke, that was below what I expected. I had several meetings beforehand and provided a very detailed reception timeline, including two moments that were particularly important to me: the bouquet toss and taking photos with each table of guests. Unfortunately, neither of those moments happened.

Because I was experiencing all of the emotions of getting married, I only realized what had happened when we were already doing our newlywed exit. I remember thinking, “Wait, I didn’t throw my bouquet, and I didn’t take photos with our guests!” This was very frustrating for me because these were moments I genuinely cared about and had specifically planned in advance.

I understand that unexpected things can happen during a wedding reception, but because these moments were clearly included in our timeline and discussed beforehand, I expected there to be more attention to making sure they actually happened. Unfortunately, these are memories that we cannot go back and recreate.

Despite these frustrations, my wedding was beautiful, and I will always cherish that day. I am grateful to everyone who contributed to making our wedding special, especially Melissa, who was there for us from the very beginning and made such a positive difference in our experience.”
