“As a Wedding Planner, I have the privilege of working at some truly beautiful venues across Texas, and I can confidently say that The Nest at Ruth Farms is one of the most exceptional wedding venues in the industry.

On May 30, 2026, I had the honor of coordinating Ashton & Tyler Trout's wedding day at The Nest, and once again, this venue exceeded every expectation. From the moment vendors arrived for setup until the final guest departed, every aspect of the day was seamless thanks to the incredible ownership, management team, and venue staff.

The Nest is not only stunning architecturally, but it is also designed with both couples and vendors in mind. The getting-ready spaces are spacious and thoughtfully appointed, the ceremony and reception areas flow beautifully, and every corner of the property photographs like a dream. It provides the perfect backdrop while still allowing each couple's unique vision to shine.

What truly sets The Nest apart, however, is the people behind it. The owners and management team are some of the kindest, most professional, and most supportive individuals I have encountered in the wedding industry. They genuinely care about their couples, their vendor partners, and the overall success of every event hosted on their property. Their communication is exceptional, their processes are organized, and they consistently go above and beyond to ensure everyone feels welcomed and supported.

As a planner, I deeply appreciate venues that understand the importance of teamwork, and The Nest exemplifies that philosophy. Their partnership mindset creates an environment where vendors can do their best work, which ultimately leads to an elevated experience for the couple and their guests.

“We had my daughters wedding there. It is a wonderful venue. The place is a clean country area. The amount of hours it was available to us for the price was wonderful. The best part of it is owners are so pleasant to work with. Wonderful down to earth people. You can tell that the restoration of this beautiful place was a labor of love. They enjoy sharing it with the public. It was the perfect place. Huge kitchen, huge dining/party room. Amazing outdoor space, beautiful scenery. Price is incredible. But again the most important part is the friendly, accommodating way the owners deal with and help you. It's like making plans with freinds. They could not be more pleasant and fun. They make your perfect day fun and stress free.”

We knew as soon as we stepped foot at Barnett for our tour, it was the perfect venue for us. You can feel the passion and energy radiate through the property. Everyone was so thrilled to be there, and really strived to make it the perfect day for us.

The entire process from securing our date, the fine details and coordinating, and the execution of our dream day was nothing short of perfect. It felt like a true fairytale. The day went so smooth and we were relaxed all day, including our family and friends! They were truly impressed with the wedding venue and their amazing team. The Barnett team was not selling us their business, but rather made it feel like they were making our dream day come true. They were always willing to do whatever it took to make sure our desires were met... and exceeded! Thank you a million for the most perfect day!

Some highlights of our day was the overall cleanliness of the venue including the landscaping, the helping hands from set up and the bartender and serving staff (they were all SO sweet!), the decor package (so worth it!), the food was delicious, their in house DJ (DJ Astronaut was stellar), and the firework show at the end! I recommend using their preferred vendors as it makes everything so easy and pair so well together!

To Cecily: Thank you thank you thank you! You were the one who made our special day possible. Without you, we would have been lost, and not know what to do. You are so poised and professional, but also felt like we have known you forever. We truly felt comfortable around you and knew that you had our best interest in mind. “We recently celebrated our 15th wedding anniversary at At the Table, and it was such a memorable evening. Katie and her team went above and beyond to help make our surprise celebration feel special and seamless. Their support, attention to detail, and hospitality made us feel genuinely cared for from start to finish.

The food was excellent, but I have to specifically mention the carrot cake — absolutely amazing and a perfect ending to the evening! Katie and her team even came through with a last minute gluten-free meal for a guest with special dietary restrictions.

The only negative is that the exit roads are unpaved. If there is a car(s) in front of you, you end up driving in a giant cloud of dust!”
