“Don't go to Walmart. Go here. Fresh produce, much of which is is sourced locally. Wide selection of products. Their store brand is better than name brands and usually contain better quality ingredients. Highly recommend.”

“Quick stop on island. Fully stocked grocery store. No need to stop at Port Isabel HEB and waste an hour of your time when you can spend a fraction of time here for not much more. Yes, things cost a little bit more here but remember that you are getting them sort of out of a luxury. And if you are already spending hundreds of dollars on a condo in SPI, time is already money so you might as well spend a little bit more here and get in and out. You're talking maybe 5-10% more on the final tally, some things are the same price that I buy at home. For the last 5 years that we have gone to SPI we have shopped at Blue Marlin. They have everything we have needed so far and we come from a Metroplex with a very competitive grocery store scene (WinCo, HEB, Kroger, Albertson's, Central Market, Brookshire's all around us). Will continue shopping here.”

“Island Market is hands-down the best convenience store in South Padre! Their hours alone are a lifesaver—they’re open until midnight, which makes it easy to grab whatever you need, whenever you need it. They’re always stocked with a great selection, so I can find pretty much everything here.
But what really makes this place stand out is the hospitality. The employees are incredibly friendly and helpful, making me feel like a friend each time I walk through the door. It’s the kind of place you actually look forward to visiting. Island Market has become my go-to spot, and I’m grateful to have such a welcoming place nearby!”
