“We stopped here out of town on vacation and our toddler was super fussy from the long drive and a young worker by the name Ricky who bagged our groceries was trying so hard to calm her down lol he gave her buddy bucks he was talking to her he tried lol he was also super friendly asking where we were from and having friendly talk with us he was also very helpful helping us with our groceries”

“Quick stop on island. Fully stocked grocery store. No need to stop at Port Isabel HEB and waste an hour of your time when you can spend a fraction of time here for not much more. Yes, things cost a little bit more here but remember that you are getting them sort of out of a luxury. And if you are already spending hundreds of dollars on a condo in SPI, time is already money so you might as well spend a little bit more here and get in and out. You're talking maybe 5-10% more on the final tally, some things are the same price that I buy at home. For the last 5 years that we have gone to SPI we have shopped at Blue Marlin. They have everything we have needed so far and we come from a Metroplex with a very competitive grocery store scene (WinCo, HEB, Kroger, Albertson's, Central Market, Brookshire's all around us). Will continue shopping here.”

“Went here recently with a group of friends on a road trip, the convenience store has just about everything you need to eat or wear to the beach. It was a fun time looking around and picking items up for being in the water.”
“This was super close to our Air BnB so it was convenient. The store looked like a lot of things needed put away yet, but I'm sure they get ransacked daily by tourists. Overall, a good stop for sunscreen or other items that you may have forgot on your trip down.”
