“I booked this place based on the awesome reviews and it did not disappoint! Cinthia, the manager, and all the staff were friendly and exceptionally helpful. Surprisingly friendly family atmosphere. Beautiful garden setting with personal patios surrounding the garden or pool. Relaxed happy hour setting...I would definitely visit again!”

“Rooms are clean and nice. Do not use any machines in the laundry room they will take your money and not return it and not operate. I let the front desk know the dryer took my money, and it did not work, and it would not return my money. The response was sorry about that. I reported it to the new person who took over the shift and she was kind enough to refund my money.

“What a great experience!!! Small, cozy, quiet and comfortable!! As soon as we arrived, our room keys were ready and room was cool and ready to go. We travel for work often and never had we been received with such wonderful hotel personnel. Definitely will stay again. We will be back!!”

“Update to my first review, below: a few years on it is a bit grungier and they now add a fee (plus city, county and state tax) on arrival for the in-room safe, which is a really lousy practice. Everything else seems the same. A half hour or so to Colombia bridge.

Stayed twice, coming and going from Mexico by car, and with a dog. The rooms i had were very basic but clean, wifi was good, parking lot well-lit, reception well attended, location convenient to money exchange, food options, gas stations, freeway and a fairly straight shot to the border for bridges 1 and 2.”

“I hope I am spelling his name right megail that works in room maintenance is awesome at his job. He took care of us when the AC went out and did a great job fixing the issue. He is also polite and respectful to every he talks to. Also Cheryl is great at what she does and I will gladly come back to this hotel if I ever need to stay in Laredo 5 out 5 for sure”

“We arrived late in the evening, tired and ready to go to bed. George, the night time desk host took care of of us in a pinch. He is one of the best employees I have experienced in customer service. The hotel is truly 4 diamonds. I recommend this historic and grand hotel on the Us/Mexico boarder.”

“I liked the hotel, the only thing is that last night I say one cockroach under the air in the living room, I killed it no problem and in the bathroom between the WC an the bath there was another baby cockroach, Idk if was because of the rain and was the first floor, I'm not that special person but I'm telling this just like FYI, and check that issue with bugs, for other costumers Other than that, everything was excellent.
I loved the room, totally I would stay there again ??”

“This is my home away from home. I stay here a lot due to work travels. The staff has always been super accommodating and friendly. Claudia and her staff greet me by first name and always take care of anything that I may need as a guest. They actually have a pretty decent breakfast made by the sweetest lady named Laura! She always greets me and my coworkers with hugs, smiles and warm welcomes. Laura is absolutely amazing!!! Overall the experience at this hotel has been one of the best. It’s difficult traveling and being away from home while working, but this Fairfield makes it a lot easier. Thank you to all the staff at this location; You guys are amazing!???”

“It is a motel to sleep for one or two nights, not a vacation spot, so, under that parameter, I can point out that it is the first time that they assigned me a comfortable room and in which I feel safe... The facilities are old and with brands of constant use, but they offer what you need to rest from a day of shopping.”

“We went to Laredo on business and our freight load wasn’t ready so we had to stay overnight and needed a room last minute. We drove around for 30 minutes bypassing Motel6 but eventually settled on it because they had Semi Truck parking. Given that it was Motel6 I was very skeptical but the outside was well lit and clean so we gave it a shot and was pleasantly surprised! The rate was affordable but most importantly the room was modernly renovated and Clean! All the appliances worked and it was quiet and secure. PLEASE Note I am speaking of the one at 5920 San Bernardo with truck parking ONLY the other one near walmart on same road gave a “rent by the hour vibe and said they had smoking rooms and NO TV. I wonder what one would be doing with their time??”

“I’ve been staying at Embassy Suites for a couple of months.

Staff. The front desk, Victor, and others have been super attentive and responsive with any issues or concerns.

Food. The breakfast is awesome. The restaurant inside makes great food with fair prices. Happy hour nightly with drinks and light appetizers is a bonus.

Location. It’s right across from a theater, a gym, and mall and a mall.

Rooms. Rooms have a big room for sleeping and a big living room, each with their own TV and can be closed off from one another. It makes you feel like you’re in a big suite.”

“I have run crews and worked on crews. In the process I have lived in many hotels for extended periods of time. This very pleasant, very well run, exceptionally well staffed, very well located hotel comes to me as a novel, newer, better concept that as a whole was previously unknown to me. So this hotel does have the capacity to surprise in terms of having an abundance of well thought out qualities. Everything here seems to have been extremely well thought out in the preconstruction planning phase. One can easily see up close how well run this hotel is as the surprisingly small staff are always very busy working the facility.This is a very pleasant place to live. Very tranquil. And extremely well run by an extraordinarily polite, diligent, very serious minded staff. If one could live inside a Swiss Watch where everything works perfectly and everyone is extremely polite, this place could provide that out of body experience.The presence of so many working crews compromised of long term residents, men and women from all over the World, here working on different construction and oil and gas projects does give this hotel a very pleasant international feel.It does amaze me how well the hotel staff routinely does everything immediately right and how absolutely spotless this hotel is kept. The hall floors are freshly mopped every morning. Even the grounds surrounding the hotel are regularly mowed. This wonderful, very polite hotel has far more the ambiance of a well run, well maintained, well staffed medium rise urban apartment building with semi permanent and permanent neighbors than a hotel full of strangers.If you are looking for a place to house your crew, this hotel does a wonderful job.”

“Customer service was very good. What I didn't like was that the girls in the room were wearing socks and it was obvious that they didn't clean the floor properly. And I got to look at some cockroaches. ”

“Great location with plenty of stores and restaurants within walking distance. The rooms were spacious and comfortable, and my wife and I thought the bedding and pillows were just right. It was quiet for most of our stay. The only downside was that the fire alarm went off a few times on the day we arrived—thankfully, it didn’t interrupt our sleep.”

“It was a great location close to shopping mall, lots of different food places and was really quiet even though close to freeway. Pool and the patio area was nice. Hot tub was out of service but oh well. I had issues while here but overall it was a good hotel. The rooms were comfortable , it was clean, there were no bugs noticed, nice bath towels and they had breakfast but I think it was below par. Coffee was just water basically. I bought instant coffee packs instead. Overall I would recommend.”

“Best hotel of Laredo I’ll tell you why Review is long over due. Now stay with me cause I’m gonna cover a lot of topics.Everything is within walking distance. They have a brand new buffet in their restaurant it’s pronounced too be opening soon. All you can eat Mexican buffet. Truly a game changer for their business.Highly recommend staying here: they provide amazing customer service and considering the price is so cheap is surprisingly. They can provided you with any extra essentials you need during your stay. The staff is very respectful and kind. Me and wife are truckers and they have plenty space for us even if you have your trailer. Highly recommend this place. It’s a hidden gem in Laredo considering they are constantly updating the place. Rooms 117 is what I stayed in and it was superb. Hot water, the ac works great and it smells good for a non smoking room.They have a huge pool. I really recommend more people to take a try at this hotel.DO NOT let ignorant reviews stop you from saving money at a great hotel. Pet friendly. Family friendly. Well lit up area. They have cameras all over the property so you don’t need to feel scared about going out at night being so close to the border you’d worry but no it has amazing vibes. Great people and a very comfy bed.Just because your room doesn’t come the way you want doesn’t mean it’s a bad hotel. Stop going about everything negative. Stayed 2 days here. Great customer service both times. Will be back .Rooms: My stay was good. I enjoyed it. I can’t complain. Both days I stayed was enjoyable. My bed was comfy. The tv worked. Channels were all good. Some Hispanic mostly American channels. Everything worked how it should.Nearby activities: within walking distance Fast food , gas station , atm ectSafety: Well lit area. Cameras all over the area. Very safe and secure.Walkability: Everything is within walking distanceFood & drinks: All you can eat Mexican buffet pronounced to be opening soon in the hotel !
