“Not sure if there was a hiccup with the online appointment system but when Hubby arrived this past weekend the receptionist, Christina G, said she didn't see my name/appointment when I booked almost a week out. Just needing an oil change --- we were able to still get fit in luckily and it wasn't a super long wait. Appointment was for 12pm CST and vehicle was ready around 2pm CST. The price was a steal for $22 with coupon that was mailed”

I told him that I needed air in my tire and he directed me to the designated area... above that he and the guys went the extra mile to identify the problem as a nail being the result... “So there are many places to take your car for an inspection. I have two vehicles so it's a pain to take them both for oil changes and then state inspections. In March, I had an oil change and I thought it might be too early since my inspection sticker was due in September, however somebody here told me it wasn't too early so I had the state inspection done. Imagine my annoyance when I found out the inspection was due between July 30 and September 30. for the registration of course. I came in annoyed but prepared to pay again... but I didn't have to do that. I went out feeling like I had just had a visit with a good neighbor. These guys absolutely put the Rock in Rockwall Brakes Plus on Goliad. Very happy I was not grilled for my part in lack of researching, instead, Chris Stockert, who has taken over as general manager in October 2023 simply said, "...not a problem, we will redo at our expense.". I think we can all agree that customer non-service is abundant in the world and locally right now, but not at Brakes Plus. I will continue to do business here as long as I live in Rockwall.. And by the way, the bad reviews seem to center around people who have made appointments to bring their cars in. I'm very happy these people even offer appointments as some do not. If these guys are to cars like doctors are to people, appointments, run, long keep that in mind and also keep in mind, they have a nice key drop if you want to bring your car in the night before. Just my two cents..”

“Christian Brothers has impeccable service. Whenever I get my tires rotated or changed, no matter where I am, I immediately try to find a Christian Brothers to do my alignment inspection. They are kind, quick, and affordable. It’s hard not to appreciate them. I trust their consistency with great quality service and customer service as well.”
“This is a great shop to work with. I took my nieces used car in for inspection and repair. The repairs were done in a timely manner. When the car experienced additional issues driving home, Rodney replaced the Autozone battery which I just bought with no charge for labor. When the problem still cropped up, Rodney spent a day running down diagnostics to find the transmission issue was not something he could address. The diagnostic effort was done at no charge. Will definitely use this shop again.
My only complaint is the lack of Saturday hours, even for just drop off, makes it a challenge to use them around the family schedule during the week.”

“Took my 2010 minivan there thinking I was having transmission problems. They did a diagnostic and determined that it was an engine misfire, not the transmission. They did the diagnostic at no charge. Great guys and this is the only place I'll go for services and issues from now on!”

He did not try to upsell me on anything. I got exactly what I went there for, which was a front axle brake job on my 2013 Toyota Tundra. He even told me that I didn’t need to service the rear brakes at this time. Service took 2 hours and communication was great.
Read the reviews but bear in mind, 99% of satisfied customers do not leave reviews. It’s the unhappy ones and the ones that can’t be pleased who leave the negative reviews. This shop addresses all of the issues though, which says a lot. Use this small business and support your community… Or go to the big box shops and overpay. Your choice.

“I took my car there due to torque converter issues and they went ahead and replaced it and when I took my car over there again just to make sure that there are no more issues they did not hesitate to check the transmission and even the mounts on the car. They thoroughly explained to me And reassured me that the transmission is fine. Wonderful service ❤️.”

“I cannot speak highly enough of the amazing service I received at 66 Automotive! My car has been having some issues, and I wanted to take it somewhere close by. I found 66 Automotive and thought I'd give them a try. It took them 2 days to completely finish a fairly major repair. Then, 1 week later, I found another issue with my car. They had that all fixed up for me in 1 day.
I know where I will be going from now on anytime my car is giving me trouble. I don't wish car trouble on anyone, but everyone who is having car issues should try them out!”

“I was headed East on I-30 ( traffic heavy and flowing at 70 mph) when my SUV started to swerve dangerously. I was able to move right and my first exit took me right into Bulldog ( Complete Auto Repairs). The owner was walking out but saw me and asked " what can I help with". Quickly he saw four broken and missing tire lug bolts and one almost broken off. " We are extremely busy right now. We can repair this but probably can't finish it today". Then the friendly East Texas emotion took over--"Where are you from? You are so fortunate that that tire didn't come off. Where are you going? Lets see what we can do". Then the manager came back from lunch--they "huddled up" and " let us back out a car and get you repaired and on your way". Talking and consoling and directing me to a air conditiond Tea House across the street and as three service people analyzed, began repairs, went to supply house and got parts, repaired, tested, and had it ready to go in about 3 hours. I can never say enough "thank you", praise the attitude and professionalism of the entire organization, and recommend them to everyone. Talk, communication, and understanding--Bulldog Transmission & Automotive in Royse City that kind of Professionalism.”
