“I started coming here 6 months ago when my wife signed up for a CrossFit class. Little did I know what I was getting into, lol. Well, 6 months later, this gym is a gem. Classes are generally small, which allows for more personal attention and the staff and the other gym patrons are friendly and helpful. I've learned so much here - from proper stretching to lifting techniques to body mechanics. At 57, I'm getting close to being in the best shape of my life, thanks to Iron Keel. Definitely recommend!”

“I have known Joe for years and his approach to wrestling, credentials, and skill set are second to none in the area. This facility is also in a great location off of 45 South. The mat space is huge with quality engineering that are great for wrestling, jiu jitsu, or even Judo. I highly recommend this spot if you are looking for a real wrestling club with a championship minded program!!”

They constantly remember my name, are extremely helpful, and keep the facility immaculate. The coaches are fantastic. I adore this studio and the wonderful folks who work here. “Shannon gave Tristan a great orientation and a lot helpful information for him as far as diet and helping him reach his goals. I have been a member of AF League City for years now and I have been to other AF and the League City West location is my favorite. Always clean, the owners Jason and Melinda are great. LC AF has a good variety of equipment. Would like to see an addition of a GHD to be able to do glute hamstring raises”

“This place is awesome. It has a lot of specialized equipment for those looking into strongman/strongwomen. The owner is very knowledgeable and offers several very affordable services. It is not a high tech place with lots of machines and AC if that's what your looking for. I would recommend this gym in a heartbeat.”

“My family have been members here for more than 10yrs, only taking a break for expat assignments. We love the facility and the staff. Our daughter takes tennis lessons from Roger and he’s great. I get personal trading from John and I’m having a great time. It’s comfortable and clean, the people are friendly and helpful, they’ve got activities for your kids and adults, and they’ve even got a spa. My only complaint is that I want them to build a climbing wall!”

A major component of this location's success must be attributed to the manager, JR.
