“Best crossfit by far in the Webster/Friendswood/Clear Lake area and top in the USA easily.

I have dropped into crossfits around the United States over the last 16 years. And this is definitely at the top, great coaching, meaning the coaches actually teach you the correct form and will even modify and work with you to ensure you get a safe and delightfully challenging work out!

Equipment is clean and top of line! Jet engine has all the fun crossfit workout toys plus huge fans everywhere and yes there is no AC BUT again fans everywhere so as long as you're sweating, moving, or resting near a fan you're totally fine.

My wife and I did check out other crossfit gyms in the area Clear Lake/Webster/Friendswood and nothing comes close the coaching was no good or just incorrect and no where near the compliment and quality of equipment available at Jet engine, I high recommend this crossfit and will be headed back at my next opportunity!

“Absolutely love this gym. As someone who’s been going to commercial gyms for years, it feels refreshing going to a gym like Houston Athletic Club. It has all the equipment I need for whatever my goals may be; including bodybuilding, powerlifting, and now strongman. There are an abundance on accessories and tools at the gym to help with your goals. The gym never feels packed or crowded even during peak hours, allowing you and everyone else to work on what you need. I highly recommend this gym to all newcomers and veterans alike.”

“From my experience- coming at this without knowing someone who already goes here or that could help me navigate how to best enroll my child- it was a rather hard thing to do. I didn’t know you had to download an app. I would try to get in touch with some and all I could do was e-mail back and forth, which was such a hassle. Classes would show OPEN- yet wouldn’t let me enroll & all it let me do was send another email. In the end I just came down to the place of business in hopes of just figuring out what to do. Luckily, when I came in person Matt was here! He definitely helped me navigate what to do and how to enroll my kid. He even made space for her in a tumbling class that was impossible for me to do online. I was ready to give up on trying to enroll but luckily he turned my initial experience around and even gave me the date for when Cheer enrollment would begin again. Then Michell at the front made it so seamless to transition classes! I definitely recommend if you’re having trouble on your own online- just come in and talk to one of these team members! This place is so very accomplished in the field of cheer. So we will see how far she’ll go!”

“I don’t know, I love it here lol ❤ Every coach I’ve had has been super friendly and the energy is always great. I honestly don’t have a favorite because they’re all good. I’ve only been going for about a month, but I’ve loved every workout so far. I just wish I had joined sooner it doesn’t even feel like a workout! Vibes are good!”

“I’ve been going to Planet Fitness for a hot minute now I change between all different locations and I have got to say that this location is the very very best!! I would rather take the extra 10 minute drive to come to this location because literally everyone here is so nice. It is so clean. It is so spacious and everyone just has such a good attitude. I had the pleasure of meeting the Club manager Bri and I am so thankful that she was able to help me with my dilemma with my insurance not only was she super informative, but she was so nice explaining everything and got everything figured out for me called a different location to get some information and was so nice to them too just very professional and honestly the best! You literally cannot beat the membership prices and all that you get for it is amazing!”

“In regard to the negative review about the 14s coach that was made earlier today, I was the R2 during this interaction. There was no barking or disrespectful comments made towards me or the other team, to my knowledge. They were mostly positive, and just overall seemed to be frustrated given that the R1 was not allowing him much room to contest calls.”
