“Cold beer, margaritas, and anything else you could get at a gas station. All at the convenience of a drive thru. You dont even have to get out of your car. Can be busy at times, and the wait can be 10 minutes or so, but most if the time you are in and out quickly.”

“I always have the most wonderful experience when I go to the First Stop Beverage Barn in Poteet, Tx I am always greeted when I walk through the door. The owners are very friendly and approachable. Their customer service is great.They have a variety of cold beverages and snacks. Their prepared foods such as pizza, hamburgers etc are always hot with fresh ingredients and made to order according to my specifications. It is a delight to go to the First Stop Beverage Barn.”

“Drove over to this place around 11:30 at night to grab some late-night food, and on coming back out, my car wouldn't start. I had a slowly dying battery that just refused to start back up in the cold weather. My car was parked right in front of their doors, and with no other customers at the time, the gentleman handling the store was gracious enough to come out and help jump-start my car. Took all of three minutes. Without that simple show of humanity, I would have faced a long, cold walk home wearing nothing thicker than a t-shirt and workout shorts -- leaving my car there, where it might well have been towed before morning. I've lived in this area since the '80s, and I've been a regular customer at this store all these years, buying gas, food and whatnot . But I never needed serious help like that until tonight. I'm grateful for it, and want everyone to know that this business is operated by some good people, and it deserves our support.”
“Place e is always clean. The laundry is awsome. Clean, plenty of washers and prices are good . The people that work in the laundry part are very nice and helpful. Just wish they were 24 hours .”

“The place is clean and organized ,and the cashier was friendly,polite,and kind. They to have a variety of fast foods to buy while on the go. The front door is very hard to open at this place,so I was having a hard time just trying to get in,since I am handicapped,a nice young man finally helped me get the door opened,so I could get out of there. I thanked him,for there is not that many gentleman left in this society,that still practice the older generations morals and values. I am so glad that this Youngs man parents didn't fail him in teaching him this valuable moral,he will be truly blessed in his life. Thumbs up!,for all those great parents who have taught their kids the older generations morals and values.”
“Clean restrooms. Good tacos. The coffee has changed to the Community brand from Louisiana. It's really decent, better than the previous offerings. Large variety of sugary snacks & chips. Overall, 4 stars & not 5 because they don't have pudding any longer. I like the Dubai dark chocolate bars...lol”

“I went in to get some snacks and soft drinks. It was slightly crowded and some people were wearing masks and a few were not. I am not sure what the store mask policy is but they did not say anything to those without masks. Their prices are competitive with other convenience stores.although i feel the soft drink prices overall regardless of store or location are too high. This was a rare event for me to buy soft drinks at a convenience store. I usually just purchase gas or ice.”
