“Woe is me! I embarrassed myself yesterday at DATCU. Needed change for $100 bill to pay yard man who had followed me for pay. Was told I had an outstanding $20 charge on money market account I had emptied two months prior to pay for hearing aids. Would not give me change until $20 was paid. I was flabbergasted that an empty account was considered an open account. Paid $20, finally got change. Went i. Today and sweet marvelous, classy Francis had already credited my account. At 80 my mind finds it illogical to consider an empty account open. In future if a mo ey market account is emptied please notify customer to “close” account so they won’t be charged. Many years ago delivered mail to DATCU on Edmonds Rd. and asked if you could accept letter carriers as members. You did and gave me a mug. Thanks DATCU for making an old lady happy again!”
